This has been the worse experience pouring footings truck L8 came out with a attitude and didn't want to drive through TWIGS stopped pouring concrete let's his windows up and called his boss and said he couldn't get through I called his boss his boss said he had been a driver for only 8 months and that he was responsible for the truck an if he refused not to drive then he didn't have to once I told his boss there was no proof of the twigs being THICK LIMBS to damage the truck then he called the driver back...the driver poured the concrete with an attitude doing it his way not listening to us finishers and still ended coming through the area he said he couldn't get through at first. This company really shows that even pouring concrete for 40 years their 8 month driving truck drivers are always right ?....very unprofessional

I was not told that 2 yds of concrete by volume was different than 2yds of concrete by weight.
Therefore we BARELY had enough concrete to complete the job when we expected and prepared for extra.
The driver was very pleasant and the job finished fine. the mix was correct and flowed through the pumper without problem.

2 stars, because they're nice people, drivers are real good guys.
BUT they can't ever deliver on time... Or they forget about ya.

I've made two orders here recently way ahead of time and they have just smooth forgot about both times.

I ordered crusher run which I have purchased from this company before and was very satisfied with the product. I have also purchased crusher run in other states so I am quite familiar with the product. What I got this time was a mix a 4th of which were large chunks of concrete about 6-8 inches across. The large pieces jammed the gate on the dump truck drivers truck which made it impossible to dump a small amount at a time. I had to pay an additional $160 to get the load spread manually and with a tractor. I guess now that Levy Concrete no longer delivers they will load you up with anything. Buyer beware.
