Whether you are looking for professional help in designing your custom home, or not even sure where to start; Palmer Design is the place for you.
When my wife and I decided to build our first custom home, we found Ben, through a builder recommendation. We had a pretty good idea of the layout and design, but only in our heads.
We met with Ben at Palmer Design, and he went over our likes, dislikes and our general desires for the new home. We loved our first look, but we were able to make changes until we found the perfect fit.
Palmer Design will take you from the start, all the way to the finished plans to be submitted to the city for permitting.
Ben has your back from the time you start, as he is always considering architectural, engineering, permitting and ways to save cost. Ben gave us some great ideas of what he has done in the past, and what fits, or is pretty standard.
I personally appreciated his attention to detail, his communication, as well as his honest time frame in completing various stages.
You can be as involved in the process as you prefer, or you can take a hands-off approach and know the outcome will be professionally designed.
People often say, "Building a house is a nightmare." I believe it comes down to planning and preparation. If you start off with the right architect and engineer, you will be well on your way to your dream home. I highly recommend Ben. I am very happy with the service he provided. The entire process (from initial consultation to design sketches to construction documents) went smoothly. Not only is Ben very talented at his craft, but he also communicates effectively. He was always available to answer questions and provide guidance. Ben did a great job designing our 5,200 sf custom home. He listened to our feedback along the way, and the building plans we submitted did not require any modifications! He was always responsive, even after plans were approved and we began construction. Highly recommend!
