Disappointed!
We are a newly built townhomes project. Our previous fire service company moved their operations out of state.
We called on The Fireman Equipment Co. and they completed the four buildings.
Our onsite office went through a remodeling and we were quoted 15 fire sprinkler heads, mandatory replacement for paint overspray, deficiency.
We decided to ask a second opinion, from a licensed and reputable company in Phoenix. After they checked and double-checked, only 10 heads needed to be replaced, and we gave them the job to complete.
We were utterly disgusted and called Fireman's office and reported the fraud. A few days later, we received a call from the Co. owner, blaming the technician that counted the over sprayed sprinkler heads...
We will no longer use their services, and as a big man once said, Trust but Verify!

They help with any issues you may have especially with the inspectors throughout the valley.
Melanie was great today.

The only reason I give 2 stars is because they actually came out and did an "emergency service"... Besides that this is a conny, shiesty, lying business with a scammy business model. Bad vibes, superficial customer service. Think dealing with a sleazy car dealership/salesman/finance manager whose goal is to nickle and dime you in every way possible.
I've experienced this during and after their initial service for a total of two visits.
They fraudulently represent the municipal fire department. I got a fake letter in the mail from Phoenix Fire Department and behalf of a 3rd party company they hired after I very respectfully stopped doing business with them.
I very rarely, if not ever write reviews.. But after calling the Fire Department and finding out the letter I received was fake then this merits the review. They actually used a Phoenix FD letterhead and address too. The letter entailed getting service done by them ASAP. Like a fake collection agency letter.
They installed inadequate equipment and falsified their tags in my restaurant on the first visit. Then on the second visit they tried to punish me for their own prior inadequate job. Their technician was slightly baffled when he discovered his own company did this AFTER he told me how dangerous it was. They tried to blackmail me twice which is why I stopped doing business with them. They look for anything and everything in order to run up an invoice. They're pushy and if you're not versed in the slightest bit about anything technical or hardware related they will pen up a maximum bill. Multiple $20-$50+ charges for every piece of hardware and fittings that cost cents at ace hardware or home depot. Imagine getting billed several hundred dollars for parts that cost pennies and them pretending they're doing you a favor. So sneaky.
I'm disturbed by the manipulative people and their business model. The thought of living or dealing with them gives me goosebumps.
When it's in their best interest it's "that'll do" then after that "it's dangerous" and "needs to be done ASAP"..They don't give a care about safety and danger, they're just a bunch of cheats chasing a dollar.
Oh and I went in person to pay the final invoice and end business with them. Their office on Indian School is a disgusting mess with dogs and children in there. The place looks like a filthy baby and doggy daycare inside with things everywhere and items all strewn about.

My wife and I just moved to Scottsdale. We had no network of craftsmen or handymen. Recently, we were told that we have a problem with our indoor sprinkler system and we needed somebody to come to the house and assess our needs. Coincidentally, that same day, we were at a car wash and the van in front of us was from The Fireman Equipment Company. We wrote down the number and called it as soon as we got home. The lady on the line was very helpful, so we felt good about setting up an appointment. Two days later, the owner of the company came to our house and assessed what was going on. He was very nice, very thorough and, seemingly, very knowledgeable. Turns out, he was the owner of the company. We asked a lot of questions and found out he has owned the company for 31 years. That made us feel comfortable. Anybody in business that long has to be pretty good at what they do, right? Plus, the owner is still calling on customers and getting his hands dirty 31 years later. That told us something about his professionalism and his love for the job. Immediately, he gave us an estimate on the work that needed to be done and we gave the "okay" to do it. We would absolutely recommend that you talk to this company if you need any work done, too.
