Last weekend I was attending the Tempe Arts Festival as a food vendor. Half way through the day (3pm on a Friday), the fire marshal came by to do their inspections and it appears the tags on my fire extinguishers had fallen off. I was told I needed to get them addressed TODAY. I called around to several places and none of them had availability to come out to my location or even to provide service at their office.

As I'm staring down the possibility of being shutdown, I made a call to Industrial Standard Fire Protection and explained my situation, I was told that their crew was onsite at a fire inspection and was completely out of the office but they would call me back to see if there were any other options.

About 10 mins later they called back and said that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to help. At this point I was gambling that my due diligence in calling multiple places trying to get service would get the fire marshal to not shut me down for the event.

A few more minutes go by and all of a sudden my phone rings and it's David Kramer. David told me he already out of the office and headed to the west valley but after hearing my situation, he was going to turn around (this is now 4:45PM on a FRIDAY) and go back to the office so that he could help us. In the end we had our fire extinguishers tagged and we were able to complete the festival!!

It wasn't till the end of the weekend that I looked at David's business card and my jaw dropped, David Kramer is the president of the company. I am humbled by David. He took the time to turn around in traffic, late afternoon on a Friday, to help us out when no one else was able/willing. This speaks volumes to David's commitment to customer service as well as his support for his local community!
