We bought a home in Vail, AZ with a pool built by Omni Pool Builders. Having little experience with pools we wanted to make sure we knew how to manage the system and properly care for it.

Justin from Omni came to our home and walked me through a very thorough and clear orientation. He changed the auto fill valve and installed new filters, all the while teaching me how to do it myself. Justin changed the pump setting to help clean the pool better but also save money. He was friendly, patient and obviously an expert. I now believe I can take care of our great pool and I know that if I need help Omni will have me covered.

Building a pool in mid-2024 is an expensive endeavor and has some risks for the average homeowner. It requires a builder that has both the technical and management skills, but also excellent employees and subcontractors. The builder is as only as good as the weakest link in the total delivery chain.

We selected Omni pools after doing an evaluation of all of the pool builders in our region. I rated them based on years in business, public reviews and BBB comments and standing. We received two proposals from three selected contractors. One of the contractors was not interested in quoting. After a head-to-head evaluation and talking with each contractor we decided that Omni was the superior choice, and provided the best value. Our experience with Omni has proven the right selection was made.

Pre-contract their designer understood what we wanted and improved our draft design in ways we did not consider. His explained how Omni works and it’s organization including the role of the Project Manager who was our point of contact. We spoke with the PM, or saw him almost daily. He did a great job keeping up us to date and listened to our concerns.

Omni also uses a computer-based tool that tracked building schedule, daily progress, messaging, and finance. It turned out to be a great communication and documentation tool between ourselves and the entire Omni team. The system documented daily progress with pictures and communication about the build.

Our pool build was not without problems. An issue was identified by Omni where a small area of shotcrete needed to be removed to repair an electrical conduit. This concerned me and I communicated this to our Project Manager. He kept me informed as to the shotcrete repair options and timelines. Ultimately the owner of the shotcrete installation company who had about four decades of pool building experience reviewed the repair process and shotcrete mix with me. After that I had complete confidence in the shotcrete repair and the person doing it. Omni did not take shortcuts.

Our pool is beautiful.

The excavation started on June 3 and we were swimming on July 13. What makes Omni the best builder in my area is that they hire and motivate the best people and suppliers. Neighbors who want pools have seen the Omni’s product in our backyard and will be reaching out to see what Omni can do for them.

My wife and I highly recommend using Omni Pools!! From the first moment we began working with Omni, we knew we would be in good hands. Matt was incredible and has a great feel for design and thought of things we would not have (like centering the spa outside our master bedroom window). Throughout the design phase he actively and patiently worked with us to design our oasis backyard pool and provided reasonable product/equipment recommendations. He never tried to up-sell and made recommendations to not do certain things as he did not feel it would be money well spent. Scott was our project manager and was awesome and always out on-site ensuring things were being done correctly. Scott and his team persevered through the very rainy winter and did the best they could to stay on target for completion. Additionally, they worked well with the landscaping company and timed the final steps of pool completion around the landscaping completion and perimeter wall. During the final phase they were very conscientious about protecting our new plants and landscaping. Furthermore, during construction they always ensured the site was cleaned up to the best extent possible. I want to highlight that after the gunite was poured it was obvious the spa was too close to the house. Without missing a beat, Scott agreed and offered to jackhammer out a wall of the spa and move it in 1 foot to allow a more acceptable pathway between the spa and house. Allysa was great at communicating and keeping us informed on what was next and beyond for the schedule. Megan has been great for the various small punch list items and getting those completed. Justin handled the start-up and is super knowledgeable with an obvious deep knowledge of pool systems. He has been very responsive to my text messages and phone calls for my numerous questions.

Overall, the entire project was very smooth, they are responsive and prompt. The contract price stayed as is with no “unanticipated cost increases”. We will be praising their work to all who will listen and highly recommend this company.

We have a home that backs up to a wash and has a small back yard and wanted to add a pool. Three pool companies had looked at the site. One said they couldn’t do it. One said they would get back to me and never did. The last threw out a price between $150,000 and $200,000. We gave up. Went to the home show and thought I’d try one more time. Stopped at the Omni booth and spoke with Matt. Told him my story and he pulled up an arial view of my property and said he could definitely fit a small pool in our yard, which is what we wanted. Matt came to the house, took some photos and had some preliminary drawings shortly thereafter. Several changes later we approved everything and signed the contract. All work was completed in a timely manner, after waiting for six weeks for the county to issue the permit. Our construction manager, Jon, did a great job and took care of any minor problems. Allysa kept things moving in the office. Justin did an excellent job on start up and explained things well. All Omni personnel and there subs were very professional. Very happy with the entire experience.

We just had our old ugly pool & cool deck & yard redone by Omni pools , it was the best choice ever, Ventura , Megan, John & Justin were absolutely wonderful to work with, the whole crew did a phenomenal job !! Everyone was so helpful & went above & beyond to make this huge construction project a pleasure, we are extremely pleased with the final result, it’s absolutely beautiful !!!
