Doug and crew were excellent to work with. We needed a complete new roof install and they offered an competitive price and used excellent materials. We went with the Malarkey roofing shingle and also had them install polyglass on our flat top roof. The job was done efficiently and they did a great job cleaning up afterward. I would recommend them in a heart beat.

So glad we went with Doug and his crew at Cal Roof to replace the roof on our new home! They worked around our schedule when our closing date was delayed, and to allow other work to get done on the house at the same time. Doug was very communicative about what they found, calling with information and texting photos to explain. The on-site workers were respectful and thoughtful, to show me things like the way the dryer vents out on to the roof and may need cleaned or re-routed. And the clean-up crew was very thorough, taking a magnetic wand around the property when I expressed concern about nails and other debris that could be left behind. And their pricing was very reasonable, as we shopped around to get the best price. Would definitely recommend Cal Roof!

From the start of the process, Doug was very transparent in helping me think through whether it would make more sense to do an entire roof replacement vs. do repair/patch work in particular trouble areas. He was a great thought partner in this sense. Upon deciding to move forward with a full roof repair at my home in Point Loma - his pricing quote was great (beat out the other bid I got by about 15%) and the execution/installation of the project was superb. The crew was friendly, and Doug was very communicative throughout the entire job. I called him frequently throughout the process and he picked up and gave me as much time as I needed to check in every time. Highly recommend Doug and Cal Roof for any/all roofing repair work needed in the San Diego area - great value, responsiveness, quality work, and professional!
