I have been trying to get a replacement part since the end of May, and they have sent me replacement parts for everything but what is needed. 6 times they sent the wrong part. The customers service was really nice about it but their web site has something to be fixed to be more user friendly.

I purchased an 8 foot dual pane slider for my home in 1994. The fixed pane started to fail a few years ago and was to the point that you could barely see through it. I called Milgard, gave them the serial number stamped on the door frame, took measurements and photos as requested, and two months later I have a brand new panel I can see through! At no cost. An actual, honest to God, lifetime warranty. I’m very pleased and impressed. Attached are before and after pictures. Thanks, Milgard!

As an original home owner of 34 yrs whose original Milgard windows needed to be replaced due to water seeping between window panes, contacted company warranty representatives via their website, corresponded and set appointment for replacement all online. It was convenient as well as easy. The replacement was for the half circle and middle square window. Matched to original look and looks great on top of that. The lead installer Gary and his associate were cordial, professional and completed timely and seemed to take great pride in their work. I'd say they were done well within an hour upon arrival. When I am ready to pay for new windows, probably in the near future, I'll be sure to contact Milgard first.

I received my product with hardware that had been installed incorrectly at the wrong heights so my doors would not lock properly causing a safety issue. Milgard rep was contacted and I requested immediate assistance with correcting the issue. The man on the phone was extremely rude, didn’t believe me that there was a manufacturing defect. Accused me of installing it incorrectly. I believe his name was Moses, or Bruno? I informed him that it was a security issue and he was very unconcerned and dismissive. My initial request for reconciliation of this issue was March 11. Today on May 2, a technician finally came out to fix the issue. I was canceled on once in between this time because the technician was ill. Apparently they only have one technician? The man who came today was very nice and did a great job, however I have had a pretty terrible experience with Milgard and with their customer service. My home was left vulnerable and without the ability to lock my doors for two months, Milgard was completely unconcerned and dismissive of this issue. The product itself is fine. Standard run of the mill, nothing special but that was my choice. The photo shows how the hardware was installed incorrectly, the measurement from inside of frame to handle is off, so not just a leveling issue. Overall, a bad experience, would not recommend
