Update: Nothing about our initial experience has changed - it was a positive experience getting a quote. However, we decided not to go with Ameritech, and that process has been unnecessarily challenging. We signed a contract with them to lock in our quote and then decided to exercise our Colorado right to end a contract within 3 days of signing. We called them the next day to find out where we should submit the contract recission, as their paperwork did not have the required email or mailing address on the form to rescind the contract. The person who answered the phone would not give me an address or email and said someone would call me back. Long story short, it took multiple phone calls and conversations only to never get an email or address. They insisted on sending the salesman back out to pick up the recission form on the last day we could legally rescind the contract. Then, they failed to refund our deposit within the time frame of the law. We had to go through our credit card company's dispute process to get the deposit taken care of.

If you choose them, I am sure they are fine. But if you need to exercise your rights, expect pushback and frustration.

Original 5 star review: We were so pleased with our contact at Ameritech Windows. Chase spent a couple of hours going through our home, listening to our needs, discussing options, and answering our questions. The time and attention were above and beyond! He was also very patient and kind with our pets, which is a big plus for us. If you are thinking of windows, doors, or siding, I highly recommend getting a quote from Ameritech!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY. RED FLAGS ALL OVER. They send a very, very pushy salesman to your door who offers you a substantial discount if you sign the same day (fine, makes business sense), put a poster in your yard (fine, lots of people do), and WATCHING US WRITE A 5 STAR REVIEW in exchange for a few thousand dollars off the windows (Never have I seen this before - and I own a business!). They also spent most of the appointment bashing other window companies in town, denigrating their work/integrity, and talking down everyone else (Again, I own a business, I get it, we need to make sales, but It's low class to do so by bashing people by name and talking down people in their own industry). We got the creepy crawlies as soon as the salesman started the high pressure pitch on us, and he walked out as soon as we declined the high pressure sale. Apparently they also threaten to sue you if you leave a bad review. This is 2024 - there are a TON of good window companies where we got quotes - with NO RED FLAGS, and none of this comical villainous behavior.

Folks -if you need further proof of how you'll be treated as a customer, look no further than this response from the owner of this "stellar" business. You should look at the number of 1 star yelp reviews for this company, I wish we had now before we booked this high pressure sales call from this garbage business. At no point did this "stellar owner" ask who the sales person was, nor were they troubled by the fact that their salesperson offered a discount in exchange for watching us write a review, or any of the other things I and other reviewers mentioned. Instead, the owner spends time looking up my review history and trying to invalidate the review by personally insulting me (as he does EVERY negative review left online, which are incredibly numerous. 2.1 Yelp stars? Pathetic. How this business stays afloat is beyond me. The yelp reviews and BBB complaints are all met with this owner talking down to the customer complaints like an upset 10 year old.

The sales pitch was great. I didn’t feel overly pressured or overwhelmed and we were educated on the benefits of this product vs others. They did ask that both homeowners (me and my husband) were home for the presentation, which I feel is fair since we both own the home. The product itself is also great. Worked well over winter with minimal draftiness, although there was some from the main window. We realized the other night after opening this window for the first time, it’s because there is a small gap up top and the window doesn’t quite fit the frame. It also doesn’t latch properly.
Edit: Lalo came out and fixed the window that wasn’t latching properly. It now works great! He was very friendly and did a wonderful job.

I recently learned about Ameritech Windows at a home show. They are a local Colorado company that has been in business for 30 years. We had an in-home estimate last weekend and were SUPER impressed!! Not only by the quality and features of the windows, but also by the professionalism and customer service we got from Austin! We originally wanted a quote for only 7 windows and a patio door and ended up ordering windows for the whole house. I cannot wait to get these installed.
