Very misleading company!! Do your research on this company and you find how misleading they really are. Their door to door reps are very dishonest and misleading!! I do NOT recommend BRITE SOLAR!! Michael Mccan is one of their lead dishonest guys who mislead me!!

Worst experience ever. Was set up on a permit we did not authorize. 5 different people involved in the process. No hard copies of anything, all done online. Zero customer service. Went with Alasta Solar. They helped us back out of this fiasco.

Everything promised by this company was a lie. We were told we bought solar and an HVAC system. We were told that we’d get a 30% tax rebate to apply towards the loan to avoid a higher payment 18 months later. Or we could choose to use it for a family vacation the salesman told us. We were going to apply towards the loan. It isn’t a rebate- it’s a credit and if you have no tax liability it doesn’t apply to you. So now our payment will increase. The hvac was never installed and when we started asking for it to be completed, it all of a sudden was a mistake on the salesman’s part and the company had him calling to apologize. He stated he thought we were getting a complete upgrade and that he was so sorry about the mistake. Months go by as we still fight Brite and the company that installed the system, once again Brite has Nate call us and apologize and offer a $1200 refund.
We had a large solar system installed that was supposed to create 110% of our needs. It went active November 15. We are still getting $100-150 bills from the electric company. It shows we’re still buying 1,000-1450 kWh a month! So now we have $236 payment for the solar loan plus the electric company payment. And next year the loan payment will increase another $100 due to us not being able to pay down the loan the 30% from the tax credit.
Run from this company- if they knock on your door- do not sign up with them. Nothing they sold us on has been true.

Brandon just stopped by our house to explain the process. He was very professional and very knowledgeable (lots of experience in the field). Brandon explained what excels plans for the next 6 years are with time of use plans and increase in prices for electricity. How much money in the long run you will save, etc. tax credits, etc.

He assured us that communication is very important and that we can message him at any time with questions or concerns during the process.

We also found out that solar panels does not effect your debt to income ratio it’s under a utility monthly category. If you are interested it is only a soft credit check as well!

Brandon was our solar consultant. I am a skeptical person and really asked a lot of him. Even after "making the sale," he was far from being off the hook. Whenever I had a question, no matter how loosely it was associated with my solar project, he would coordinate with whomever and provide an answer. We ran into some panel placement problems due to the size of my roof where he worked diligently to provide a satisfactory solution.

Yes Brandon is a sales guy, but one with integrity fulfilling every deliverable he agreed to. Because of my skepticism, on more than one occasion I may have implied he was part of a door to door scam, however, Brandon was always there to assuage any concerns I felt. Now that the project is 100% complete, I can say the solar panels, and the workmanship of installation have exceeded my expectations. I am convinced Brite / Action is the best in town and have recommended them to family.
