We dragged our feet for years because we just couldn’t get excited with any of the many bery vanilla kitchen floor plans drawn up
by different local kitchen design centers. Then one day we visited Connecticut Kitchen and Bath and met with Phyllis. She was a good listener. Our needs were met. She exceeded our expectations. She magically made our kitchen appear twice as big in the same floor plan, doubling our storage. The many extras in her designs were brought to life by Vins and Justin who Phyllis had recommend to us to do
the install. They executed the plans perfectly and made Phyllis’ vision a reality. We now enjoy our dream kitchen. It was so worth the wait. We are so happy that Phyllis is now designing our primary bath. Thank you Phyllis (and Vins and Justin) for making our kitchen such a special place for us.

We just completed a new kitchen using Phyllis and her company, Ct. Kitchen & Bath. We couldn’t be happier with the end result. All of her suggestions were thoughtful and loaded with experience.
The cabinets and their layout turned out beautifully, and the quality is superior. Phyllis also renovated the master bathroom vanity, which is now fabulous. It went from being a desk with two vessel sinks to a beautiful 60 inch vanity. Phyllis was on top of the project from the beginning to end, and always kept in touch with where we stood with timing. When Phyllis first came out to give her input on our kitchen makeover, she had a vision that I could just not see. I had planned in my brain what I thought would be best for our renovation. She patiently listened to my ideas and asked numerous questions about what our ultimate goals were for the kitchen, how our family utilizes the kitchen, how our holidays work, etc. She even asked about our pets, where they ate, etc. Although her visions weren't what I had envisioned, I asked her to draw up what she thought would be best for our renovation. When we met next to go over her design, I was completely blown away at how much thought and expertise had gone into her work. She had listened to our answers to her questions and had used all of the information she had gained and created a design even more beautiful than I could have imagined. And more than the beauty of the design, was the functionality of it. We could tell she had put a lot of thought into our kitchen layout and knew it would be perfect, despite it not being what we had initially designed in our heads. She handled ordering the cabinets and worked side by side with our contractor throughout the entire renovation. She was easy to reach and always gracious despite all of my gazillion questions. Fast forward to now; our kitchen is fully installed and we are loving every inch of it. It is absolutely beautiful and perfect for our daily living. She was 100% on point about what would be the best design for our house and hour family. There were some small bumps along the way that were out of her control (cabinets damaged in transit etc.) but she and her assistant Bill handled it all for us expeditiously and professionally. We could not have asked for a better experience with Connecticut Kitchen & Bath. I would recommend Phyllis for your kitchen renovation without hesitation.

I have only positive things to say about our experience. Phyllis and her team were amazing to work with. Her designs are beautiful and very reasonable in price. We used all subcontractors suggested by Phyllis and were very pleased with the coordination of activities between them all. Looking back there’s not a single thing we’d change. Phyllis redesigned our kitchen which involved relocating appliances and knocking down a small wall. We recently moved to Harrison from SF bay area and found a 40 year old great home that needed a perfect kitchen and Phyllis and her team did an amazing job, to the point we do not even remember what the original house looked like.

Phyllis and the team came to our home on closing day and went through all the details (2-3 hrs). It helped us to image how our home will become our dream home.

Phyllis' design shines everytime when you cook. All the cabinet and drawer details are just perfect for our needs and can't thank her enough. Everytime we pull out the spicy rack or oversize drawers that fits all awkward size kitchen items, we smile ;)

The construction team that was referred by her (Vin, Justin, Mike and others) helped us to go though this renovation with little stress. They are very detail oriented and delivered all the work within the promised time frame (during the holiday season)! They even delivered the countertop within 3 days instead of a week or more! When we decided to renovate our kitchen we went around to all of the area kitchen and bath firms as well as the DIY stores to evaluate their options, costs and capabilities. If you have gone through this process you know it can be overwhelming and when you finally decide on a firm you keep your fingers crossed and hope that they do what they promise. Now, two years later, the contractor from Connecticut Kitchen & Bath who did the work on our kitchen has just left after coming over to tighten a cabinet knob that I could not tighten myself. I think this example speaks volumes about the professional work ethic and customer care that we received from Greg and Phyllis at CK&B. While I am sure we drove them nuts with our repeated changes to their plans and their repeated visits to our house, they made great recommendations, had the courage to tell us that some of our ideas would not work, became our advocates with the cabinet vendors when we requested different colors and trim work and visited often during the renovation work. Think about how often a vendor has not only checked in with you two years after your project was completed but also came over to fix something you were not happy with? I believe that is what sets Connecticut Kitchens & Bath apart from their competitors. We are very happy with our kitchen and wholeheartedly recommend CK&B.
