I was totally impressed with Tom's inspection and follow up report. I found him to be very professional and extremely thorough! He educated me on numerous items, as well as general safety concerns that I should consider. When the inspection was complete, he gave me a binder that contained much useful information about home ownership and general maintenance. I was told that I can reach out at any time in future years with questions or concerns I may have about caring for my home. Cannot recommend him highly enough!

As a first-time home-buyer, I had no idea who to go with. After a brief search online I found positive reviews for Tom and decided to give Beacon a try. I was very impressed with Tom's knowledge and professionalism throughout the entire inspection process. Tom left no stone unturned during the inspection and did his very best to do a thorough inspection of everything, even climbing up into the tiny attic access space. Tom was very knowledgeable about everything that was inspected and encouraged us to ask him any and all questions that we had as he was more than happy to provide an answer. I cannot recommend Tom enough for having your inspection done and I will be sure to utilize him in the future should we need another inspection. I should also mention that the report system Tom uses is wonderful as well as it lists everything out and allows you to select certain items as "requests" with the ability to add comments and send to your realtor when purchasing a home. Tom was very responsive upon our initial inquiry when scheduling the appointment and with all communication or questions leading up to the date of our inspection. As a first time home buyer, there are certain systems and functions in a home that I was not familiar with but Tom was incredibly educational and thorough with his inspection. He walked me through what he was doing and what exactly he was looking for during the inspection and provided a comprehensive but digestible report for review. He was thoughtful, respectable and very professional. At the end of the inspection, he provided me with a binder that had a manual to reference as a first time home buyer that further explains the importance of regular maintenance with the home that I’m sure will be very handy for years to come. Tom expressed that he is available for further questions and inquiries as a client even after the inspection period. I would highly recommend working with him and Beacon Home Inspections as a first time home buyer. This process can be overwhelming and scary but Tom really helped keep me calm!
