Deb at Aqua pool and patio saved me so much time ,stress, and an Expensive service call to an electrician by troubleshooting our Pool lighting problem right before this Labor Day holiday weekend!
We now get to enjoy our Lit up pool for remaining evenings of the season. Thank you so much. Debbie and Aqua is always very responsive!

Aqua Pool put our pool in 12 years ago and whenever we have had a problem they have handled the situation in a timely and professional manner.
This past weekend we discovered our big filter had a crack in it that I tried to fix with duct tape (yikes)but I called Deb and she immediately asked me for pictures and sent a fabulous crew the next day of Tyler and Daryl who replaced and fixed the issue and saved us from a situation that could have had HUGE problems!!
Deb is amazing and the techs are friendly and knowledgable..it’s a top notch organization!!

I am currently having a gunite pool installed at my house. They haven’t even finished yet and there are already significant cracks in the gunite shell. So significant that they have jackhammered out a 12-13 foot long portion of the pool and found another crack in the shallow end. What’s worse is that they never informed me. I was simply awoken by jackhammering at 7:30 in the morning with a team from Tri-State, informing me that they were called in to patch the brand new gunite shell with *concrete* until I stopped them. The project manager, Greg has been extremely disorganized from the beginning, has unapologetically poor communication skills, terrible customer service and had *no idea* that they were at my house that morning planning to use concrete instead of gunite . This is in addition to how poorly the project has been organized and handled on a number of occasions from the beginning, including, but not limited to: arguing with my electrician that they had provided the appropriate equipment for the electrician to wire two weeks prior, but we spent hours trying to find said equipment one Saturday morning. They insisted they left it here, but they never, in fact, had. I received emails and phone calls from the office and the Construction manager Greg saying that my pool was scheduled to be cleaned on Monday and plastered on Tuesday when it was impossible to do because no electrical work was able to be completed without the proper equipment in the first place. In fact, one person argued with me that there was no such schedule to plaster my pool on Tuesday so I had to forward them their own email from their own office. They refuse to take responsibility for the fact that there are serious issues with their gunite installation and want to put multiple patches in a pool that has not even been completed or used yet. If that wasn’t enough, the Bluestone slab coping is chipped in multiple areas.

I’ve consulted a number of other gunite companies who confirmed that this is a serious problem. Cracks in gunite should not appear for decades which is why we went with this construction in the first place. It was a huge selling point for them to emphasize the structural integrity of their superior pool, which is why it cost well over SIX FIGURES figures to install.

The construction manager, Greg, consulted a structural engineer on this project. I asked for all of it in writing which he refused to do. I simply received a text message stating they found a SECOND crack as well. I reached out to the pool company owner on June 1 and have yet to receive a response.
Please see all photos attached.

Update: the construction manager, Greg, brought a structural engineer to my house on June 7. That was 11 days ago and I have not heard from Aqua Pool since.
They have not called me or emailed me and refused to put anything in writing. I now have a large concrete hole in my backyard with zero communication from the company.

Aqua did my opening and closing. The men arrived as scheduled(early), were very professional, efficient and paid attention to every detail. They cleaned up prior to leaving and made sure that my pool was working properly. The same 2 men also installed a pool railing for me a little later in the season, and again, the same positive experience. Closing also went smoothly.
Every time that I went into the showroom to get water tested, the experience was very positive. Showed me the results and wrote out detailed instructions. Their knowledge and detail for everything kept my pool running smoothly all summer. I highly recommend Aqua Pool and Patio. I am looking forward to the same experience next year

The team at Aquapool built a beautiful pool at my home more than 10 years ago, and they have been my choice for service ever since. They are professional, helpful, and prompt. It's important when you think about building a pool you realize that it's going to require care an maintenance. It's going to cost money to maintain. For us, it's totally worth it, and having a pool has been a game changer in our lives. Aqua Pool opens it in April! and closes it in October and I especially love using it in the late spring and early fall. If you have a pool, you will need a trusted company to help you, it takes expertise. Things are going to go wrong, pools have to be opened and closed and serviced and if you don't have a partner I would expect you are going to have a lot of headaches. Aqua Pool is my trusted partner.

Just called again per the owner’s response and as usual my call was ignored. There is no diligent work being performed in regard to addressing the construction defects. No responses to emails either. This pool was started in March of this year, the plaster job is impressively bad. I was told my “frustrations will be reported to my supervisors”. I assume the young lady’s
Supervisors include the owner.

We purchased a house in 2020 with a pool built by Aqua Pool & Patio in 2017. Opened it that spring and found it had cracked significantly and stopped holding water. It was under three years old.

We worked with Aqua to troubleshoot and paid for temporary repairs over the course of a year but ultimately gave up on working with them on a permanent repair as they seemed uninterested and incapable of doing anything more than temporary patches they were charging us for. Aqua would neither quote pricing nor offer any timeline for a permanent repair. At each attempt at contact, they made it apparent how deeply bothered they are to even answer the phone or reply to an email.

We tried to be patient and understanding, giving Aqua multiple chances over the course of a year to earn back our trust and make things right. And we wanted to believe that they would. Our last attempt was reaching out to the owner hoping to find some clarity. He deflected responsibility, placing blame on his subcontractors and throwing his own employees under the bus, and the only solution he offered us was more temporary patches to be billed at market rate.

The owner also blamed us, said we should have paid to have Aqua out to inspect the pool prior closing on the house as then we could have made the original owner who paid for the pool be responsible for paying for the repairs. However, when we asked why the pool they built failed under three years after build, he did not respond.

Aqua will say they have been in business for over 50 years, but now under second generation ownership. Our experience has taught us that a reputation inherited is only as good as a reputation upheld.

Aqua Pool & Patio finished our pool in early August, ahead of schedule. Every step of the process was an absolute pleasure! From the initial consultation (where we had NO idea what we even wanted) through the design and planning, permitting, excavation, build, and now at the end of the season, the close. This isn't a pool. This is art. We are amazed with how beautiful our backyard came out. The staff are clearly on top of their game, and everyone knows their stuff. At every stage we felt confident and relieved that we were in good hands. If we could give ten stars, we would! Thank you Debbie, Greg, Tracy and everyone at Aqua pool for literally bringing our dreams to life!
