I left a message to quote some glass panels for the company. The lady who called me back immediately interrupted me once I started speaking to state that she couldn't quote the work because it was "beyond legal dimensions." (It's not; we have a licensed contractor overseeing the overall construction project and are doing some financial research on our own.) When I tried to explain how the project is being ran and implemented, she cut me off three more times to rudely express her disbelief and dismay.

After hearing her state how my business must be running things and that she doesn't think she can sell glass to me, I was content to leave the call at that, but I was then told that she must end the call, again in the middle of me speaking, because a customer was waiting.

Overall, I am unimpressed with the rude, heavy-handed, and presumptuous attitude I was met with, and I have no interest in working with a company that tells me how my own project must be without leaving any room for even the beginning of a conversation. If I could give them zero stars, I absolutely would.

I’ve had two experiences over the last 5 years, where exterior glass panels were broken. I had repair quotes from Pella and Anderson, but only Capitol Glass really offered a repair —- the others were all replacements at 3 x the cost.
I suggest that you give them a call whenever you have a repair.

Called to asked a question and the lady behind the phone interrupted me in a very rude way “Do you know who you are taking to?” talking a very aggressive tone she wasn’t the right person to ask, like ok??? Transfer me to the right person then I’m just calling to ask a simple question, no need to be disrespectful. Her name is Lisa. Maybe she should consider looking for a job that doesn’t involve talking on the phone, because clearly she is not capable to at least be respectful to people.

I met with their estimator Emmet Hale. Unlike many vendors, he arrived precisely on time. In our discussion, it became clear he was an expert on large mirrors and their installation. He listened carefully to my project plan and was able to quickly provide me a plan and an estimate. If he is typical employee of Capital Glass, I’m sure you will get a very professional and satisfying result.
