Overall

The city doesn’t remove bulk trash from my building and said we have to use our regular garbage removal company. McCrae said they would do it but not for almost another week. So I hauled all the stuff back from the curb, then on our scheduled day I hauled it all out to the street again. I called once in the morning to reconfirm they’d be there - no answer. So I called again that afternoon - no answer. They accidentally called me but hung up before I could answer so I called back immediately - no answer. Then I finally just texted the number and still got no response.

Overall

Do not trust this company. They would not pick up my trash for a month. For 2 weeks straight I called, texted, and they said they would not pick it up because the gate was broken. This is not the first time I have had issues with them but it certainly will be the last.

My tenants left the door wide open for days, they still would not pick it up. Please stay away from this company. Here is a photo of the current situation (like this for a month) this is attracting rats and the smell is awful.

We cleaned out furniture and bulk trash from our entire house. Everyone was very responsive. I texted a photo of the trash to the phone number on the website. I scheduled my appointment the same day around the holidays, and was able to book an appointment for the next business day. The workers were on time (7:30 am sharp), efficient, professional, kind, and courteous. We are telling all of our friends in DC to use this company instead of commercial Junk pick up companies. You won’t regret it!

Overall

I moved into a new home and did a bathroom renovation. I was surprised how hard it was to find someplace to take my construction debris in DC. Renting a huge dumpster was not cost effective or feasible and renting a truck and hauling it myself seemed more trouble than it was worth. I called on a Monday and was able to schedule a pick up for that Wednesday morning. They picked up everything quickly and completely cleaned up the area. It was like the debris was never there! They are very affordable and extremely easy to work with. Highly recommended.

I had McCrae Trash remove a lot junk from my garage and basement in my house in Bowie, MD. to make more room. They were on time, friendly and very professional. I pointed out all the junk that needed to be removed and they did they did the rest. They even separated the paper and cardboard so it would be recycled, I loved that. The price was reasonable too I expected to pay more but it wasn't. I will definitely use them again and definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for junk removal service.

Overall

I had McCrae Trash clean out my grandmothers house. We had to get the house appraised and needed to remove a lot of junk from her house. They were on time which was a plus and was ready to get things moving. They had multiple trucks and enough guys to work. My family and I just pointed out what needed to go and McCrae Jr and his team got things moving fast. What surprise me the most is that they offer discount the 2nd load so we saved some money, I totally would recommend them and love the fact that it is a family business.
