Top notch company with service and personable employees to match! Great experience making a phone sale for a washer and dryer with delivery the very next day! Installation technicians were great as well. All around great experience - highly recommend! Love supporting local, family owned businesses.

Absolutely a total ripoff!!! I was told there was a $99 diagnostics fee to come out, and if they found anything wrong we would be charged parts and labor in which the $99 would count towards the bill. This guy is at my house for 20 minutes removes some lint and hits us with a $189.99 bill. What a joke!!! I would highly recommend not using this company. But if you like to get ripped off, by all means give them a call. So pathetic!!!!!

Everyone here is helpful. No complaints. Came out and fixed my Speed Queen. Went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.

Wonderful experience with John's! When we having a frustrating warranty issue, Tracy stepped in and totally took care of it - being the middleman between us and the appliance company (even though we hadn't purchased the washer from them). It was a huge help and a relief! Also, Jay came to repair our washer. He brought the part that the diagnostic cycle identified as being broken. But, using his knowledge and expertise, he brought additional parts that he had a hunch could also be causing a problem. He was right! Thank goodness he knew to come prepared and knew how to find and fix issues that went beyond the diagnostic code. He was on time, thorough, and very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend John's and all the folks there!!

Picked up my new SpeedQueen washer here a few days before Christmas 2023, due to catastrophic failure of my 20 year old washer. Price was very competitive. Staff was attentive and helpful. With the machine I purchased, I hope I never have to see them again, but I’m sure one day my dryer will need to be replaced as well. Will not hesitate to deal with these folks in the future for my appliance needs.

Customer service was amazing! They genuinely seem to care about their customers and want to provide them with the best experience. And not to mention...I called on Friday morning and had my new washer at 1pm later that day. The experience was a nice reminder of what customer service should look like and I will never buy an appliance from a big box store again!

Purchased a brand new Speed Queen gas dryer from another supplier. Said supplier literally fumbled the delivery and installation, really botched the whole service aspect of things. After the delivery and installation, my dryer started rattling non stop. I needed a reliable service department, a family owned, small box place; John's came to the rescue. Most places only service what they sell, John's isn't any different, but, after hearing my story, they made an exception, and I couldn't appreciate it more. Tracy Jean and Phil were amazing. Tracy heard me out, was understanding and empathetic, and found time in their service schedule to come see me, someone who didn't even purchase from them. Phil was my service technician and he was awesome. Talked me through everything, explained the different parts of the dryer, etc. After taking the dryer apart, tightening some things up, making sure everything was in working order, we started the dryer up and the rattle was gone.
Here's what's important. It's not just getting rid of the rattle, but someone seeming to actually care. I called Tracy to thank her after Phil had left and she was adamant that if there were any other issues to call her (John's) and they'd be out to take a look, and I believe her. That's what's important: speaking to a person, feeling like they actually care, and believing they will stand behind their name, sales, and service. I feel confident if I need John's again, they'll be out to help.

I reached out to John's Home Appliance Repair today (4/18/2023) after struggling to find a reliable company to come out and fix my Speed Queen dryer. Although John's was not able to service me personally as I live in Philadelphia the woman who I spoke on the phone with was extremely helpful. She gave me recommendations of local Philadelphia area companies, and even offered to look up my warranty info to help me out. Even though I personally did not get to use them their customer service is A+, and they truly care about who is on the other side of the phone. I lived in Wilmington for 3.5 years, and if I still lived down there I would absolutely be using John's, and will without a doubt recommend them to my friends and family who still reside in the Wilmington area.

John's appliance Center was wonderful! My oven broke and many of the ovens that I was interested in purchasing from the big brand stores were on backorder until Feb, March or April. And since my electric stove was hardwired, many would not install without an outlet. When I heard from a friend about John's, I went in and explained what I was looking for. They printed 4 different options for me to select from. After going home with the print outs and reviewing, I selected one and ordered. I ordered on a Friday afternoon, and install was completed the following Tuesday without needing an electrician. Very Reasonably priced and great customer Service! Would highly recommend!
