Eddy the business owner does the work. He came out and worked on my drywall like it was for a house getting ready for sale. After work Eddy cleaned up the area and left it better than it was before. High quality work. Will use this business again if the need arises.

If I could I’d give 10 stars. Eddy came in the morning and surveyed the issue and was able to pinpoint it right away. I had been having issues with copious amounts of what I thought was dust ever since Horizon installed the HVAC system in 2011. Horizon sent tech after tech and none of them was able to pinpoint the problem. One Horizon tech told me the issue was coming from my mattress (lol) but not funny. I’ve had duct cleaning several times subsequent to the installation of the HVAC system the last time was October, 2022. Still had copious amount of “dust”. The duct cleaning service came out to try to help figure what went wrong. They even (at no charge) did a duct cleaning again. Still copious amount of “dust”. Finally Mike from from the duct cleaning service discovered that the dry wall that was cut during the HVAC installation was not repaired resulting in my house looking like a “dustpan”.
Eddy and his crew from Delaware Drywallers came and did a more than fantastic job of repairing something that should have been taken care of in 2011.
If anyone reading this needs an expert professional caring team of drywall repairers then you MUST contact Eddy at

Did I mention they left my home spotless too.

I called the number for Delaware Drywallers and I spoke with Alejandro in Spanish. He told me to call his personal number, which I did. We made an arrangement for an estimate. He showed up, gave the estimate and the timeframe. We came to an agreement.

When he showed up to start working I paid him $750 to start and he stayed for about two hours and left. He did not complete what was expected to stay on the timeline that was promised. He assured me that the timeline will be met and he'd be back the next day to work ALL day.

He called me the next day and said he would not be coming. I asked about the timeline and he said we'd still be on time, no problem. He said he'd be back the next day to work from 8:30 in the morning until the afternoon.

The next day rolls around and he's not there as promised. He did eventually show up but it was over 2 hours late. When he did show up he again stayed to work for about 2.5 hours and then left, stating that I didn't provide enough material. He knew I was on my way back to the house with more mud and he only needed to wait another 10 minutes and I'd be there. Seems like a small time to wait when the contractor has made the client wait for him for hours. When I showed up to the house 10 min later he was gone.

At this point, speaking to another contractor on-site, I came to realize there was no way the timeline was going to be kept. I contacted another contractor who seems more reliable and hired them and fired Alejandro/Delaware Drywallers.

While hiring the new contractor, they kindly pointed out the huge quality and workmanship errors that were made with what Alejandro did do. They quoted me a high price because they have to actually go back and fix things that Alejandro did wrong, including mud on the ceiling that was already cracking, and mud that was put on way too thick.

Best bet if you want to find a good drywall contractor is to go for word of mouth recommendations. I was fooled by the positive reviews here for Delaware Drywallers, hope the new guys I hired are better.
