BEWARE that their pricing is predatory. They'll tell you a service fee is $89 but when the tech gets there they will tell you it's an additional $59 to do a diagnostic. To paraphrase it: Either allow us to perform the repair or you owe us $150. The price to diagnose and replace simple AC Capacitors are borderline criminal however that seems to be the standard range for midsize HVAC companies and above in this area. If you use them for any repairs make sure to pull up coupons in advance cause you damn sure are gonna need them lmao.

Called for semi-annual check-up to ensure AC was working properly. I am a disabled senior citizen and was scammed into having an air scrubber and electrostatic air filter for the tune of over $2,800 in a 17-year-old HVAC unit that wiring was bear. Invoice states inspect electrical connections which were obviously in bad shape but still pushed for this air scrubber and electrostatic air filter. Unit did not function properly after that and they sent 2nd tech out who stated this should have never been installed in this unit. The UV light you have is sufficient. I have reported to Better Business Bureau for full refund and will also file with the court system. Only reason I'm giving a 1 star is because you can't give zero. BEWARE!

My husband has had a contract with Horizon for decades and we have always been satisfied with their promptness and expertise. This Thursday afternoon my main line started backing up into my basement and Friday morning a specialist was out to fix it. Thomas McGlothln went above and beyond in clearing out tree roots that had gotten into the pipes out in the street and took the time to explain the issue and what to expect moving forward. It truly turned around a situation that I thought could only get worse.

I have been a loyal Horizon customer for over 14 years. I have been the one defending them when others say they cost a little more etc. I have always been happy with their services, until last week. I had scheduled our yearly maintenance for our air conditioner. I took the afternoon off and the appointment was between 12 and 4. At 3:50 I called and was informed my appointment was canceled. Supposedly the technician had called 3 times and no one answered. No missed calls and no messages. I was upset and the individual that I spoke to was flat, not wanting to hear I was upset. I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor. She told me I would get a return call from them within 24 hours. No calls or messages. 6 days later I called back. I had a wonderful person apologize and made several attempts to get the supervisor immediately but she was not available. She assured me the supervisor would call me back that day. I still haven’t received a call back. Very disappointed and frustrated. I am not sure I will be defending Horizon anymore.
I still have not heard from Horizon! So disappointed ☹️

Horizon services replaced a kitchen faucet for me in February. The service was prompt and professional, but I had a problem with the price. Their plumbing manager got in touch with me, and he took $200 off the price. I am happy with their prompt resolution of our issue.

I am posting this review for my family. My parents own a condo and they were in need of having the kitchen sink faucet replaced asap. My father reached out to Angi to help speed the process along and was given 3 recommendations for plumbers in their area. Horizon services was one of the first to reach out to him, so my dad went with them because they needed this done quickly. Needless to say, my father was charged $700 for the replacement of a sink faucet.
After the work was completed my father spoke to someone who had a plumbing background, and told my family that it shouldn’t have been that expensive. My father was overcharged by about $400. Someone from Horizon was supposed to get in touch and has not done so. It is horrible how these companies take advantage and overcharge people. It’s Sickening to me. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE. They do not deserve not even ONE STAR!

I have been a customer of Horizon Services for about 20 years. They do the job right the first time. They come out fast if there is an issue. If I just want prices, they usually still make it out the same day. They are in and out quickly, which I love so I can get on with my plans for the day. They installed my heat pump and did all the maintenance. I also use them for all plumbing. The plumber I had before Horizon cost me thousands of dollars that I did not need to spend. I can't say enough good things about this company.

They came out to give me an estimate to replace my water heater. They quoted me 11k! I thought he was joking. Once I told him another company quoted me 5.5k he “magically” was able to price match that. Not sure how he could come down 6 grand but he magically did. I think this company thinks their customers were born yesterday. I felt as a young woman like they were trying to take advantage of me like I was stupid. Especially right before Christmas. I know quality work is worth good money, but I also know a 3 thousand dollar job when I see one. So glad I didn’t go with this company, and will know to steer clear in the future.

All of a sudden our [very old] faucet stopped working properly and we knew further use would cause damage, so we called Horizon. I was shocked that they scheduled us in immediately.
I was only expecting one technician, but two arrived. They were very friendly, and soon learned the second man was in training. We were quoted a crazy amount for labor, new faucet, and replacement. But, my husband ran to the store to get a replacement from Lowes which cut the price in half.
Seemed ridiculous to spend so much money on just a faucet since we are renovating in a few months anyway. But they were able to replace it for us before they even left (also very surprising that we didn’t have to be rescheduled like other plumbing companies will do).
We’ve been on and off customers of Horizon since 2014, and it’s nice to see that they are just as kind and efficient as they were nearly 10 years ago.
