Great experience!! I didn’t know it would even be possible to fix our vase, which was very sentimental to our family. It was in lots of pieces (and small ones too). They set clear expectations from the beginning and had a lot of communication throughout the process to make sure that I was happy with what was to be done. Detailed instructions how to ship everything to ensure no further damage was done. Very reasonable prices! If you are questioning if this is the right company to go with-YES it is!!

Five stars all the way! I consider myself fortunate to have come across Lakeside Pottery Studio a few years ago when a family heirloom statuette was knocked from a shelf and broken. Then, a couple years later, another item inherited from my grandparents, a Japanese bowl, became chipped and damaged. Morty and Patty do impeccable work. I am 100% satisfied with the repair work they did on my family items. The repairs are, to my untrained eye, completely undetectable. They saved my family heirlooms with their beautiful craftsmanship. Their communication throughout the process is top notch, and their packaging is done with such care that no damage is likely to be incurred when the item is shipped back. If you have an item, whether it is a valuable collectible or simply something of sentimental value to you, you can trust Lakeside Pottery Studio to give the best results possible in bringing your damaged, cracked or broken item back to its former glory. The old adage is true..."you get what you pay for." There is a lot of time and meticulous effort involved in restoring damaged pottery. To me, the cost to repair my items was well worth it. I could not have glued or epoxied my items and had a favorable result. Just not possible. These guys are the best!.

Morty and Patty are wonderful! They are so knowledgeable and repaired my great grandmother's flower pot using the Kintsugi gold repair method. They were so kind to call and talk me through various options of repair based on their recommendations and experience. Would absolutely use Lakeside Pottery for any future repairs.

We could not be happier with the work that Lakeside Pottery Studio did for us. They took a box of shards from a very unique vase and returned a work of art to us. The Kintsugi repair is so attractive, we may love the vase even more now! Working with Lakeside was very easy. Instructions were very clear, and communication was quite prompt. The turnaround time for the entire process was faster than expected, especially considering the amount of work required for the repair. We are so grateful to have found Lakeside Pottery Studio and gladly recommend them to others.

After having a family vase with sentimental value shattered accidentally by our dog, I learned of Lakeside Pottery and Kinsugi repairs from my son. What a treasure! I couldn't be more pleased with the result and Mort was a pleasure to deal with along the way. Mort was very communicative through out the process and guided me with any questions I had along the way. I couldn't be happier with the results and thrilled to have my vase in one piece now with an added artistic flair. Trust Lakeside they will not disappoint!

Purchased a statue in Zimbabwe and was heartbroken when it arrived broken. Lakeside repaired it beyond my expectations… it looks brand new. If I don’t tell anyone it was broken prior, nobody would ever know. Perfection is the best I can describe the work. Highly recommend!

My beloved bull took a tumble and, as a milestone birthday gift, I wanted to hold on to him as a reminder of the tumbles we all take in life. I thought kintsugi repair would be beyond my budget, but Morty and Patty had several options available and I am thrilled with the results. Communication with them was clear and direct, instructions were super-specific, and the work was done quickly and beautifully. (photos: before, broken, and after). Thank you, Morty and Patty!

I’ve sent two pieces to Lakeside Pottery Studio and was very happy with their work. Both items were of sentimental value to me. The first was a red bowl that they repaired with Kintsugi effect. Gorgeous! The second piece was a cat sculpture that my Grandmother had given me decades ago. Both ears had been broken off. I was amazed when I received the repaired sculpture. You absolutely could not find any signs of damage. The repairs were so artfully done, it looked like new! The repair process is very efficient. Morty and Patty are responsive to inquiries and the work is completed at the quoted price and within timeline provided. I highly recommend.

I own some very rare and very old marble objects that suffered server breakage in shipping. I was sick about the loss of such beautiful, nearly irreplaceable, things. After a search I came upon Lakeside Pottery and was impressed with the scope and sensitivity of their displayed work. After an initial conversation I decided to commit to trusting Lakeside with my restoration. I quickly became very comfortable with the process and sensitivity of these artists, and the end result far exceeded my expectations. My Grand Tour marble column was whole again and I could not find any hint of the repair despite knowing just where it had been smashed. The prize that I though was lost had been returned with all its beauty and value intact. The price was not inexpensive but I consider it to have been a bargain that was easily justified by the return of both the rare aesthetics and economic value.
Very shortly after my first experience another shipping tragedy happened. This time the damage was more server and required much more reconstruction, as well as extensive resurfacing. I was again amazed at how Lakeside Pottery was able to transform my box of rubble into the glorious 200 year old monument pictured below.
Thank you for sharing your Art!
