Spent over $20,000 for a lift project.
The final product was well done and quality work, people in the office are friendly.

Getting communication and follow up throughout the process was frustrating and the lift still has some issues of the cables coming loose -unraveling on the rollers - related to the weighting I imagine.
They were made aware of this several times, and it was never fixed – still not fixed after three years.

Also had hired them to build a floating dock -and it just never got done

Walked away from my $1200 deposit and hired another company and got the work done. Never experienced that before with a company that already finished one project – would expect that they would want to retain additional business

We had an appointment scheduled for 1:00. No one called and no one showed. I called and left a message with the estimator, but did not hear back so I contacted the office. They apologized and rescheduled for 3:00. I waited 7 days to hear back for an estimate and heard nothing. When I called back, the estimator was out and would not be back until the following day. I told them just to forget it and cancel the estimate. The office’ response was, I apologize but we are very busy, we get at least 25 calls a day and only have 2 estimators working for us.
That seems overwhelming and something that could have been communicated when I scheduled the appointment. The office however passed that responsibility off to the estimator. The disappointing part of this is the complete lack of communication through the process. If you’re going to be late, just give a call. Let someone know. I understand things happen and am more than willing to work with someone if I know what’s going on. We have decided to look elsewhere for service for fear their work will be as poor as their communication.

I got bids on a new boat house and Jason from American Marine came to my house and was so nice and helpful I knew they were the right company. We were told it takes about 3 months for permits and they were very busy 6 months out . I like the honesty. They started in October and in 2 1/2 months I was very impressed with the quality and looks of my project. They went above my expectations and repaired my dock with trek deck and reinforced everything. I highly recommend them . The girls in the office are friendly and great also. Thanks

The American Marine team is great to work with. First and most importantly they will actually call you back, second they show up when scheduled and their craftsmanship is perfect. We are very happy with our boat house and rebuild of our existing pole barn and securing the existing sea wall. I highly recommend American Marine.
