Had a bathroom painted and it seems the owner put someone who was new to painting. The electrical covers or switches were not removed. The painter had no tape to tape off before painting. Supplied him with tape that HE asked for only to not use it. Did a sloppy job. We also provided covers so no paint goes on the bathroom equipment that he did not use hence some paint is now on bathroom equipment. We were charged too much for the type of job that was done. We have other painting jobs to be performed in our home and will not use this company. We are currently fixing the work they did not do well, ourselves. It stinks that we had to pay over $600 to get this done only to have to go back and fix mistakes. Not worth it. Handymen nowadays don’t treat your home as if it was like their own.

James was very professional. He showed up at the time stated, saw the work that needed to be done, and explained what didn’t need to be done. He also took the time to explain a more accurate repair, which was easy for me to complete myself. James was not trying to take advantage of his customer, but do what was the right thing to do. I will definitely call upon his services again.

I would recommend local handyman service 100% James is great.I recently just had my roof resealed, it was a great experience, they made everything easy, and I have already discussed several other jobs that I am going to move forward with this company to complete. Looking forward to it!

Honestly, I only giving him 2 stars because James called fast when I left a message looking for a handyman, and becase he offered to come the same day. I explained him over the phone what I need which was to replace 2 old fans with new ones and to install couple of wire shelves. We agreed on price and hired him for the job. Once here he was complaining too much about one of the fans to be more difficult that he was expecting and his phone was ringing all the time. He did finish the installation of the fans BUT did NOT finish the installation of the shelves. He installed only 1 shelve the other other was a little longer and need it to be cut but few inches, he did not brought the tools to complete the job and left it incomplete, we ask him to install the shelve a little higher it will fit but he insisted that he will be back next day and complete the job. We agreed for him to combe back next day but he NEVER Did. I text him next day to co firm he responded yes but did not showed up. When I called him in the afternoon he replied that was too busy and hang up on me. I tried to called him again another time but he had been gosting me since. We made the mistake to pay him in full for the job the day he came as we appreciated he coming same day. My husband even gave him a very generous tip which was a big mistake.

Seriously, do not hire this guy, especially if your project can not be completed in a little period of time which he will complain if he has to stay longer than few minutes in your house and remember if he has to come back, he will never do it.

I will not recommend this handyman to anyone.
