S&g Stone on the initial visit, carefully measured the old countertops and backsplashes. The price the project on their part and told us to go to a tile and slab retailer where we chose our pattern. They carefully measured the new countertop and cut it to precision. They came back out and it fit like a hand and a glove. They took their time and putting it all together. We are very pleased with the service and precision of work.

Full disclosure, this job with Sean and George started off kinda bumpy. We had some scheduling and communication snafus that left me a little frustrated. However, they were able to rally and they got me all sorted out. They did what they said they were gonna do and in the end they did a fantastic job! Our countertops look incredible. Sean is a master at his craft and it shows. We can’t be more pleased with the final product. Furthermore, we shopped this job out with several other outfits, and their prices were the best around. I found S&G stone as I was searching for someone to get me unstuck from being “fired” by Yasmani Blanco Chacon (Manny) with Luxury Granite Stone (I left them a pretty fair review of their work and business practices) and after reading S&G’s reviews called them in to see if they were interested in my “rescue” job. They came to scope it out that same day and were ready to roll the following day.

Sean and George (S&G) have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. From the very first interaction, I have been impressed with their business etiquette, responsiveness and knowledge of the material they’re working with. They complement each other’s abilities in great fashion and I’d recommend them for any granite work you may need.

When they received my stone (needed rescued from the other “fabricator”) they took it to their shop and gave me a pretty fair assessment of what needed to happen, took a template and got to work. Two business days later, they were at my home with the stones ready to roll. I couldn’t believe that the dull, crooked stone I had seen days earlier could look like they got it to look. George is an amazing, detail-oriented guy and polished the heck out of my granite to a near mirror finish.

Sean was very understanding (I may have some sort of PTSD by this point) and professional the entire time, answered the phone or called back promptly. His install work was top-notch and I was impressed with the quality of his work and accuracy.

To explain the level of detail needed, my countertops have a waterfall portion; this stone requires polishing on both sides and very sharp edges where the horizontal and vertical stones meet. Anyone can cut a waterfall in quartz; it takes actual skill and attention to detail to cut it in granite. They were able to recut that to perfection and made my counters look amazing in spite of the fact that they had been butchered pretty hard earlier by the other “fabricator”.

Overall, I am extremely happy with their work and will certainly use them again in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any repairs or fabrication don’t look anywhere else; these guys are committed to doing an excellent job in your home.
