March 2022- Florida premier roofing filed a claim with our insurance on our behalf. Our insurance would not settle for the amount Florida Premier was asking for a total roof replacement, so we went to mediation. During mediation our insurance agreed on the amount of 11,500 plus then we would pay our deductible (which I believe was 2,500). The contract + check had us the homeowners name, and Florida Premier. At the time Florida Premier attorney even stated he would take a smaller amount of commission just to settle the deal. Time passed and our salesman came and we signed papers, did a video recording of us signing and stating our names. Never did we receive a copy of this.
Months went by…. I tried to stay in contact for updates by no one would get back to me. I would call almost weekly, until I got in touch with the Orlando office (June 2023), They then transferred me to their new attorney.
They informed me that the amount what was settled on in mediation was too low and they could not do the roof for that price, and stated the attorney at the time of mediation did not have “the authority” to settle for such a low amount and to not accept calls from him.
I was shocked by this….how the hell are you going to tell me a price was settled AND we signed forms for that price, for you to inform me that it won’t happen for that price. I stated I wanted to part way’s as it’s been over a year. The attorney then told me they will take 20% of the check. I laughed at this. Sooo, you’re going to take 20% of my check, and not do my roof for the settled price? ? I let the attorney know I will be contacting our attorney to further look into our options. Florida premier’s attorney stated he would call me back. He did in fact call back (shockingly) and informed us that they will not be doing our roof and they signed the form to be release from the contract.
This company is such a joke and unprofessional as they would not remain in contact.
I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone. RUN!! Wish I could give 0 stars.

Update: Florida premier replied to my review below with completely false information.
Stating it was my attorney who has the funds. False… it was their at the time attorney who settled on the price during mediation.
Yes it was my wishes to cancel because it had been over a year since the claim was filed and we had yet to receive a roof. Their new attorney (June 2023) told me that the amount was too low to have a roof be done and they would not do it for that price that was settled. If my roof would’ve been done for the price settled believe me we would have pursued getting the roof but we were told that was not do-able… as a new roof was going to cost us around 19k with the prices of inflation of the materials.
We never contacted an attorney or had one present during this claim. We simply stated we were going to contact an attorney to further look into this… that is when they called back and said “good news… bad news. Bad news: we will not be doing your roof. Good news: we will sign the release contract and not take any percentage”
So there it is, we then cut ties.
