Very unprofessional and not a clue staff. I had a quote which staff always had a hard time to find and when I requested to re-visit, no call no show and finally I was informed "we are 13 weeks out". Very disappointed....

I wanted to let prospective customers know about the great experience we had with Custom Closets and Cabinets (CCC) during our kitchen renovation.
Our home is 90+ years old where no surface is level and no corner is square. I think our house is like many others out there. We hired CCC to replace the lower kitchen cabinets, our pantry and the kitchen backsplash. The results exceeded our expectations.
From the first phone call, their visit to measure our kitchen space, their office team, the delivery guys, the installation duo and especially their backsplash team – everyone was very professional, punctual, effective. They all did a great job.
If you’re considering upgrading/updating your home, contact Custom Closets and Cabinets located on North 50th Street in Tampa, FL.

The sales guy told us once the closets got installed the holes from our current racks would be patched. When it came to installing the closets the sales guy never answered his phone. The manager refused to lower the price or patch the holes. Horrible experience! Would not recommend.

Our company has been using Custom Klosets and Cabinets for over 15 years. Manny is extremely professional and available at a moments notice. Derek is great also. We love working with the wonderful office staff and hope to continue to do business with them for years to come!

Awful experience, terrible work ethic. I lost my entire home due to water damage and part of the reconstruction included contracting out the walk-in closet rebuild. This company had a relationship with the project manager handling my rebuild and found out how much money I was being allotted to rebuild my closet. After reviewing the project, this company told me that the rebuild would cost the exact dollar amount being provided by insurance and they were going to charge me an astronomical upcharge to make minor modifications from the original layout.
Prior to receiving the quote for the job, I met with the designer, whom at first appeared to be pretty decent. Before he left he told me how they don’t have the practice of overcharging consumers to make a quick buck and to let him know if I wanted to modify anything from the original. Seemed like it was going to work out.
Anyways, I was very wrong. In the end, my insurance allotted me $1766 to rebuild, and go figure, this company quoted me exactly $1766. My only modification request was adding 3 drawers to two of the cabinets instead of having them remain as shelves. They quoted me roughly and additional $600 for the 6 drawers, even after the designer told me prior that drawers range from $40-60 upcharge. When I asked for an invoice breaking down the costs I was told they wouldn’t provide one and they would only disclose it to my project manager. When I asked him to do a direct pay invoice from me for the work, instead of me having insurance pay out the job, I was told they wouldn’t do the job unless it went through the project manager and they wouldn’t provide me a direct quote as a new customer. He further stated they have relationships with companies like the one handling my claim and they would rather lose my business than theirs. Sounded to much like fraud to me, but I guess it makes sense when you have a relationship with a company providing you compensation costs upfront allowing you to cash in at the expense of the person enduring a hardship.
I can’t comment on their work as I ended up removing them from the job. I was able to get my closet rebuilt and all of my modifications within the original budget provided by insurance. That being said, I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone based off of their work eithic and demeanor alone.
