SCAL created a beautiful and comfortable screened-in and illuminated back porch for us and our guests to enjoy one another and our outstanding view of the trees and the ravine behind our house. And we can use the space almost year round, thanks to overhead heaters and fans. They took care of everything, from design to implementation and permitting, so we had a worry-free project. The craftspeople they hired and oversaw were on time and friendly and at the top of their expertise. SCAL listened to what we wanted, a covered porch that still allowed us to look up at the sky. They are good and kind and resourceful folk whose work created something better than we had imagined!

I recommend EVERYTHING about SCAL Home! Whatever I write here will not be sufficient to explain what a wonderful experience it was working with SCAL. From the moment I met the team I felt at ease and trusted them and the process. I consider myself a very organized and detail oriented person and the SCAL team put me to shame. They did exactly what they said they would when they said they would and on rare occasion there was a delay or change in plans (always outside their control) I knew about it instantly and they always had a solution. We laughed throughout the entire process and I can genuinely say I had FUN gutting and redoing my entire house with a small addition - and, now that the project is complete I miss the team! Their work is impeccable. The quality cannot be beat. So, to Justin, Amanda, Teresa and Michael - thank you for giving me the amazing gift of the easiest whole house remodel a girl could ask for! I love my new home!!!

The SCAL team was a dream to work with. They added a bedroom and an office to our home which not only helps us function better with our growing family and work-from-home lifestyle, it is also BEAUTIFUL. We were in frequent contact with them and we always knew where we were in the process and what came next. If we ever move into another home, SCAL will be our first call when we want to make changes.

If you're looking for high quality craftsmanship and a professional, responsive team that absolutely knows what they're doing, look no further. From setting expectations to logistics to getting the job done, SCAL does excellent work from start to finish.

We asked SCAL for a carport that would match the look of our house. They did such an excellent job, family and friends who'd already seen our house didn't realize it was new because it blends in so seamlessly.

If you book a project, you probably won't be bragging about how fast the job got done or how much you saved but you will have some outstanding work to show for it. Highly recommend.

Small Carpenters at Large enclosed our carport and took down a wall to create a large great room, laundry room, and half bath. They were amazing to work with, and are a very conscientious and professional group of people. Their attention to detail, quality of materials and workmanship, and communication were all outstanding. It was a big job that had some unexpected surprises, but they handled everything professionally and we always felt well informed. We would absolutely hire them again and recommend them to others. They may not be the cheapest option for remodeling jobs, but if you want it done right by a team of pros, you should definitely give them a call.
