Overall

I recently called Comfort Zone Heating & Cooling because my AC's control board was malfunctioning and the unit wouldn't turn on. I was assured that a technician would come out the next day with a fully stocked truck to address the issue.

The technician arrived as scheduled and inspected the control board along with a few other components. After the inspection, the technician went to their truck to write up a quote. When they returned, I was informed that they didn't have the necessary control board to fix my AC on hand. To make matters worse, they quoted me $898 for the replacement board.

Feeling frustrated, I decided to handle the situation myself. I was able to order the exact control board I needed online for only $112 and had the AC fixed within a day.

I am disappointed with Comfort Zone's service. The lack of parts on hand, coupled with the exorbitant price quote, left me feeling like I wasn't getting a fair deal. I would advise others to consider alternative options before choosing Comfort Zone Heating & Cooling.

Great crew. Worked in the heat all day to make sure our new split unit was installed and working properly. Had some issues after removing the old unit and getting the new one in. But they got thru it with a good attitude and was friendly. They even cleaned up. Always good service with Comfort Zone

Update: our AC was having issues and we asked for a technician to come out. They promptly came to check it out and it ended up needing to be replaced. On the date we requested they arrived and completed the install in a timely manner. Very respectful and polite and professional. Dom, Noah and Trey did an amazing job replacing our HVAC system. Our new system is quieter and fast, they even provided a new thermostat that's amazing and easy to use. Comfort Zone performed routine service on my home’s HVAC system. Jacob, the technician representing Comfort Zone, was very knowledgeable on units and specifically to my home system set-up. He reviewed the shape of the system by conducting a series of tests and created a ledger of recommended service and pricing that was easy to digest and understand. I chose to have the condenser coils cleaned and seal some leaky ducts sealed. The system is running as good as new again!

Noah and Dom came out today to install a new 4 ton Daikon AC unit plus furnace. They were on time, polite, efficient and professional . They cleaned up any mess they created and gave me an in depth run through of both new systems. They set up the new thermostat as well and showed me how to use it. I have their maintenance plan and they will check on my system periodically. The system came with a 12 year warranty , parts and labor etc. We also got a great deal by buying during slow season! The furnace was free as part of their February special. We have used other maintenance companies in the past, and this one is by far our favorite! If you’re on the fence about a company to use, call this one. They may be a big name, but they feel like a smaller more personal company. We have the same technician for our inspections , his name is Jay! He’s awesome , never pressured me and treated me like a customer should be treated. Thank you Noah, Dom and Hat for your outstanding service!
