J Stevens Painting did an excellent job for us on our exterior paint job. We got three quotes and Jeff’s quote was competitive and detailed. He had many payment options and gave his business insurance information without us asking for it. We anticipated 5 day completion but the job was done in 2 days. Highly recommend!

We needed some dormer and trim repairs and to have the exterior of our house painted, so we asked three qualified companies that were highly rated to give us bids for the work. J. Stevens Painting was the most thorough in their initial inspection of our house and their bid was the lowest. We had the pleasure of watching the J Stevens crew make repairs and paint the exterior of another house in our neighborhood a few weeks earlier and thought they did a great job. When they were awarded the contract they started a few days later. The crew was professional and did not hesitate to answer my many questions. About two weeks later (and some rain delays) they finished, cleaned up their supplies and equipment, and did a thorough walk around with me to inspect their work. I pointed out three minor concerns and they completed them immediately.
We are very happy with the repairs and painting, and look forward to working with J Stevens Painting again for interior work.

We got several quotes to have the exterior of our house painted before deciding to go with J. Stevens. They were very competitive with other quotes. That, coupled with their stellar reviews, fantastic communication, and the fact they're a local small business who take pride in their work made it an easy decision.

From beginning to end they were extremely communicative, transparent, and very professional. They answered all of my questions in a timely and informative manner. J. Stevens outlined/itemized all of the work upfront, including painting, rotted trim replacement, etc., and let me know that any unforeseen/unquoted work would be handled at my discretion. I was also provided documentation showing their extensive liability insurance without even asking for it, which I appreciated.

We ended up having more wood rot in some areas than we initially thought, and the additional work was quoted and presented to us. The work was 100% justified, and I felt the cost of the materials and labor to be very fair.

The crew that completed the work were fantastic. They were incredibly polite, were very respectful of my home, and frankly had a remarkable work ethic. They are obviously skilled at their trade. My wife and I are very satisfied with the quality of all of the work that was completed.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! J. Stevens Painting exceeded our expectations in every regard for the work they recently did at an office building recently purchased. From the initial call we experienced the following: a quick, and professional response / meeting to determine the scope of work, a very reasonable estimate for the cost of the work, scheduled the work about 3 weeks out, showed up with a clean, respectful and professional crew, and proceeded to do the work at a quality level above what we anticipated.

We had a challenging job with lots of work high off the ground on an existing, occupied office building, which present challenges not present on many jobs (concern for parking, overspray, etc...), but the crew handled it in a 6 star manner! Worked over the weekend for the sprayed portion of the work, and did all the hand labor during the week. Also, painting a metal roof in the hot Georgia sun is a challenge during any season, but particularly difficult during the long, hot days of late spring. They showed up early, and got it done before the final product would suffer any negative outcomes.

Overall, today it is difficult to get people to show up at times, let alone do good work. The quality of the work, and professionalism of the entire team at J. Stevens really sets them apart from any other painting crew in the area. Look at the pictures I am uploading (before and after from roughly the same areas), and I believe you will see that our building now looks about 15 years younger. This has been the best experience with a painting company we have had in doing business for about 30 years.
