Message to Ike Tiggs & Dave Moody: Remember that convo that you and I had in your conference room about needing strong black men to protect me in a Good Ol Boy white man's construction world? Well you told me I could trust you, but you lied to me, Dave.

To Holder: Why does Eric Durham think its ok to not say good morning to black people (from the black joint venture companies on the project) on the Atlanta Airport-Concourse D Widening project? What makes it sad, is that since he is the Senior PM, the younger Holder subordinates follow suite. This is especially harmful, is that this project is supposed to give joint venture companies a chance to stake their claim in the construction world. However it's a farce..because they give JV companies EXTREMELY low level ADMINISTRATIVE contracts, for example. I have over 12 years experience in construction, have ran projects from bidding to closeout from the GC perspective, and my tasks were suited to watch "ONE" subcontractor. When I spoke up about my abilities to run multiple projects with multiple subcontractors, I was immediately put on the "dont look in the eye list", which is beneath the "no good morning" list that all JV employees landed on upon their third day of arrival. Every black person that had common sense, meaning that comes from a corporate background, was issued low level jobs (unless they shucked and jived their way to the top). Somehow all of the black Holder employees (and of course the JV employees) always end up on the night shift, even when they have more years of experience than the young Holder tots that are being placed in their role, while lacking experience.

There is a front desk receptionist named Randy. I found out after I left the job that Randy took it upon herself to not only google employees' personal life history but also discuss it amongst high company members as gossip. This, in turn led to a previous Holder employee, employed for over 10 years to not get a call back after he was laid off for slow work.

I cried here at least twice a week for at LEAST one month, and was let go after I filled out an anonymous (what I thought was anonymous) form requested by my JV (Moody Construction) of how I liked working at this company. I cried at my desk, I cried at my JV's building, I cried to employees. I left NYC so that I could work with a black owned construction company, only to find out that in reality, the large projects are always owned by the whites, and the black owned companies form JV's with large white firms so that they can actually get their foot in the door. However when they have an actually capable employee, they have no where to put them except for in mediocre assistant type roles. I cried because I honestly thought things were different at this very late year of 2023 however I was DEAD wrong.

The racial discrimination in this company and on other jobsites is definitely sad, but what's most sad is that the JV employees do not speak up because they feel like they got a "good job", so Holder just keeps getting away with it. But I had a weekly call with at least 4 current Moody employees where we would complain about the current state of events and how Dave nor Ike is doing anything to handle it, some of which are recorded due to how heinous in nature they are.

I have many more words and instances that I can describe, however I feel that this review will do more harm to me than it will to Moody since they are backed by the forces of the southern boys, who run the south.

Working as a JV for Holder/Moody Construction was one of the hardest, soul crushing, traumatic experiences I have ever experienced in my entire life.

Oh, I tried to get a job at another consulting company named Rohadfox, to which Moody has subsequently called and gave them a bad review of me. I am now BLACK BALLED in the black owned construction world, thanks to Dave Moody and his GOONS.

To any young 33 year old or younger black woman or man, prep yourself before you attend this interview.
