I hired Barefoot Decks to build an upper deck, screen porch, lower deck and accessibility ramp in my backyard. Each member of this company that I interacted with was professional and talented. The Project Manager (Danny) kept me informed throughout the process. When issues arose about some unexpected wood rot and need to expand the ramp for accessibility purposes different from the original plan, I was especially impressed by his immediate detailed explanations. The team also interacted well with the other companies that I hired and were working on the backyard project (landscaping and general construction). I highly recommend them! Kudos to Project Manager Danny, Builder Chase and his team, Builder Conrad, Painters Jeff and Greg, and Electrician Tony. Nothing but high praise for these people!

When the building inspector compliments you on the quality & structure of your deck, “These guys do really good work; I see a lot of deck builders and I never have any problems with these guys”

Arley was our salesperson, he was a great help in our decision to go with composite decking vs wood. He presented the cost of every phase and option on a clear to understand excel spread sheet.

Danny was our production manager. Rick, Blacka, Dave & Girley completely took down the old deck and built the new deck. They arrived early every morning and worked until about 4-4:30pm M-F. Upon completion, everything was cleaned up and hauled away to our satisfaction.

There was a slight delay clearing up the final punch list. Overall, we are very pleased with the project and would recommend Barefoot Deck for your next project.

Our new porch looks great! After a busted pipe made it necessary to replace our covered porch ceiling, we decided to go ahead and redo the entire thing. The construction team of Chase, Jake and Justin did an awesome job. They were here early and were working hard all through the day. All had great attitudes and were so sweet to my very interested 4 year olds. The trim carpenter (Conrad, I think?) did a great job of meeting my somewhat specific requests for the column trim work. Overall, very pleased with our finished results!

Ricky, Dave, and Alex did an amazing job rebuilding my deck. They showed up early everyday and they were able to complete the job ahead of schedule. Underneath my previous deck was a bird nest. The guys took care not to disturb the nest and we were really happy to see the nest still intact after the boards were replaced. Everything was perfectly done and cleaned up after completion. Thank you all!

In the end, the deck looks amazing and the crew did a great job. I'll definitely agree with the last few folks that communication was horrible after we signed the contract. Even in my subsequent follow-ups, there was zero response -- to a point I figured the contact was null and void. Eventually, they apologized and got things going. Only had a few minor issues that were eventually taken care of, but there were still communication problems from their end with solving them. All-in-all, the lack of communication dropped them a star, but we're happy with the end result.
