I don’t normally put bad reviews but in this case I have to warn others. I ordered the Kolbe windows from this place and I brought the salesman all the drawings to my new home. On the drawing clearly was shown that the house has 2x6 frame and the windows should have been ordered that way. The windows arrived after 8 months and they were for 2x4 framing. In addition to that all of the bathroom windows that should have been tempered glass were not tempered. When I asked them about all that they blamed me for it and said that I signed their order. Of course I signed the order but I am no windows professional and I had no idea that the salesman didn’t order the correct windows. I tried discussing this with the owner hoping he can solve the problem but he was very rude and denied responsibility.

Initial contact was helpful and responsive. Installation of our $20,000 12' La Cantina folding door included large, medium, and small dents and scratches. See photos. The dents forced us to redo the trim/molding plan for the room as the trim had to now COVER all the dents. PWD refunded us $1000 in trade for not having to come out and replace the dented track which is a lot of effort for them, and would have stalled our project 4+ weeks as siding could not be installed, etc.

The first installation resulted in a folding door that got stuck in 2 places that had to be forced to open/close all the way. The force resulted in a bent track/sill. La Cantina sent a replacement sill to PW&D and they refuse to replace it, or respond to me in any way, the sill is sitting at their warehouse.

The second re-installation of the door made it much easier to open/close but the sill remains mangled as you see in photos and neither La Cantina or PWD will take responsibility to replace it even though it is in the PWD warehouse.
