Had some issues with the flooring after initial install. Lifestyle came out with our builder and inspected everything. Ended up blaming the builder since they installed it but were super helpful. They wanted to replace all of it with their own installers at no cost. Job took about two days and were great the whole time. Since then, we have had similar issues. I have called two or three times and each time they say they will get back to me but they havent and I don't really think they ever will. This is all happening almost exactly a year later so my thought is they are trying to push it past a year so they can get out of any "warranties".

Been meaning to write this for awhile. After this review, I got a call from Ashley within a few days and she immediately jumped to being angry with me for leaving this review. Great start on her. Anyways, STILL WAITING. Sent an email in 11/2023 and said my availability was pretty open for someone to come out. Haven't heard anything since. This was after a "follow up" from 4/2023. At this point, I've given up. I understand being busy but if other companies can manage an hour a day to reply to emails, so can you.

Poor installation is one thing, but being ignored by Lifestyle Flooring (Jerry Downing) and them not standing behind the work of their contractors is totally unacceptable.

We paid in full for carpet and installation up front. We have had visually noticeable seams in the carpet from day one. For 8 months, Jerry has attempted to roll and steam the seams and blame the manufacturer. An independent carpet inspector determined the seams are definitely the result of poor installation and not a manufacturer issue (the seams aren’t even sealed and overlap / gap / and have carpet fibers tucked under the backing). Now Jerry ignores us and won’t return our phone calls and emails.

Even had issues with the LVP installer. There was a minor flaw with the subfloor and installer just installed the LVP over the top of it versus stopping to either make the quick repair or stopping to notify the store or us. We ended up hiring a different installer to correct the issue.

We have spent over $11,000 with Lifestyle Flooring and they wouldn’t even give us the courtesy of a call to try to reach a resolution. Jerry also chose to ignore our claim filed with the Iowa Better Business Bureau and did not respond to the notice of service pertaining to the Small Claims Court filing we initiated and were granted the judgment.

Of all the flooring companies to choose from, we made the mistake of choosing Lifestyle Flooring because they were a little cheaper. Our bad. Don’t make the same mistake - there are other reputable companies to do business with.

After doing our homework by comparing carpet styles and costs at several different flooring companies (including the big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe's), my husband and I were very happy we went with Lifestyle Flooring. Even though we found the exact same carpet at other stores, we got the best price at Lifestyle Flooring and the quickest service ever! The carpet was delivered to the store within a week and installed a few days later. Lifetyle Flooring's contractor was on time and installed our carpet and pad quickly and did an excellent job. I worked with Connor at Lifestyle Flooring throughout the process. We were able to look around the store without pressure, but Connor was attentive when we wanted him to be. We are very pleased with our choice to go with Lifestyle Flooring.

I called the store to get a measurement done. They only do measurements between 10-4 on the week days. But we're friendly and willing to extend the time out a bit if needed. Conner was super friendly setting up the appointment which they made easily over my work schedule and lunch break.
I set up appointment for Monday (4-15 at 12pm) Conner came out just slightly after 12p and did the measurements for the house in about 30 minutes.
We went to the showroom to see samples that evening. They have you bring the show room sample boards home so you can see it in your lighting with your furniture! It made a huge difference!
We made a selection and Conner said he would email us the itemized quote, and that's where the good service stopped, we waited and waited for a quote.
I returned flooring samples Thursday 4-18, and provided corrected email and phone number in store was told would be emailed over that evening. Nothing.
Called Monday 4-22 was told it would be emailed over that evening. (apparently the email from Thursday was saved in drafts and didn't send) Nothing
Waited Tuesday 4-23 still nothing
Called again Wednesday 4-24 and got no answer at the store and no option to leave a message.
Finally after waiting now nearly a week for a quote, we gave up and are going somewhere that wants our business. Very frustrating especially after feeling like my time was wasted picking things out, only to have to go to another retailer to find something different because of lack of customer care.

I hired Lifestyle to install carpet in my newly purchased home. They were scheduled to come and install the day we closed so it would be easier for them because there would not be any furniture in the house.

It has now been 4 days since we closed on our house and no carpet has shown and no one at the store answers the phone nor does the salesman who I worked with. Poor service! I will be getting my new carpet from a company who wants my business.

Workers were very well educated on the floor. Went above and beyond when the flooring I originally ordered was on back order and got me a better product for the same price. Flooring looks great when it was finished. The contractor who did the install was cert fast and fixed the bump in the floor from a pencil accidentally being put under the floor. Overall a great experience and will be using them again for later projects.

This review wasn't written a by me & yes it should have been. These guys are the only 1s that actually gave us personal service out of all the other floor stores we checked out. We had no trouble deciding who we would go with to purchase & install our luxury vinyl floor. They worked closely with us to meet the budget we had for this project. I'm getting carpet in the bedrooms hopefully in the very near future and there is no question that I will go back to Lifestyle flooring to have it done! I definitely reccomend this store for any kind of flooring u decide to purchase for your home!

Purchased wood flooring from Lifestyle Flooring. From the time we walked through the door it was a great experience. We worked with Jerry, he took the time to explain the flooding to us and answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable of all the products. Jerry was fantastic to work with, he came to our home did the measurements and helped us bring samples into the home. Jerry went above all my expectations. They were timely in ordering and installing the flooring. The person that installed the floor did a great job, it looks beautiful. When he was finished installing the flooring he cleaned the flooring so well I did not have to clean the floor before moving the furniture back. Lifestyle Flooring will now be my forever flooring company. I would strongly recommend this company, they all are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I have purchased a lot of flooring, Lifestyle Flooring is the best flooring company I have purchased from and the installer was the best installer I have ever had in my home.
