Darren of Dedicated Painting wrote a proposal to power wash the entire house and to apply top quality paint to all the siding. Darren lied was verbally abusive when questioned about the very unprofessional and unacceptable job he did. He did not power wash the house prior to painting as promised. Someone was home all day the day he claimed to have been there power washing the house. He wasn’t there. He rushed the job and painted wood siding the day after two days of heavy rain and a day before he told us he would be there so no one was home. The paint job was sloppy and incomplete with many spots simply not painted at all. The paint spray was all over things that should have been covered (the fence, tools in the garage, the concrete patio). Plants were ripped up and paint was sprayed all over the yard. He used personal property that was in the garage without permission and left these items outside or in the yard when he left without offering to replace items no longer usable. He started demanding payment before we were home and able to assess the job he had done. Darren made excuses, lied, was bullying and abusive when confronted about the problems with his work (swearing at and angrily threatening my daughter). He was asked to leave the property because of his behavior and was paid for a job he didn’t complete. I would give Dedicated Painting and Darren a no star rating if that were possible.
