During the construction of my home, I had the pleasure of working with Val from Kitchen Classics. She was an outstanding partner throughout the entire design and installation process. She truly knows how to provide exceptional service and keys in on the smallest of details. Given my initial apprehension about building a home, Val's unwavering support and direction at every stage was so valuable. She was knowledgeable, attentive, reassuring and always willing to go the extra mile to make the experience a positive one. Whether it involved helping me select the right product, working closely with the other subcontractors, patiently addressing my numerous questions, or resolving any issues, her customer service was always top-notch. I am sincerely appreciative my builder selected Kitchen Classic for all my cabinetry needs and I am especially grateful he entrusted Val as my guide throughout the process.

No wonder all of the good reviews are old. Tried to call 3 times and they didn’t bother to call me back. Maybe the store closed?? If not I would be hesitant to try again. Learn how to answer your phone!

I am compelled to share my deeply frustrating and concerning experience with Kitchen Classics to help others make an informed decision on who they decide to do business with.

The delivery of our cabinets was delayed by an unacceptable 2.5 months. To make matters worse, we discovered that the owner of Kitchen Classics, Joe Lorentz, also serves as the CEO of Ovation Cabinetry. This explains why we were pushed towards the Ovation cabinet line. Not really even given other options, just shown those specific cabinets. After waiting for six excruciating months, multiple emails and phone calls asking for updates, we found out that someone at Ovation Cabinetry had dishonestly claimed to have ordered the necessary materials, which resulted in our project never getting off the ground. Joe stated to me on a phone call that the person at Ovation Cabinetry “lied” when they said they had ordered the materials.

The quality of the cabinets we received was nowhere near that of the custom cabinets in our kitchen, and they were outrageously overpriced. We ended up paying a staggering $70,000 for cabinets that didn't even cover our kitchen or living room. Our kitchen and living room cabinetry was substantially lower in cost and higher in quality.

Through recent conversations with others who have dealt with Kitchen Classics, it became apparent that we are not alone in facing these delivery delays and getting the runaround. The delays not only caused us immense stress but also forced us to extend the lease on our current home since we were unable to move into our new home. Despite the obvious issues, Joe Lorentz and Val Siddell from Kitchen Classics opted to deflect blame rather than owning up to their failures.

When I confronted Joe Lorentz about the missed deadlines, he disingenuously pointed to the fine print in the contract, claiming there was no specific date listed. However, I have emails clearly outlining the agreed-upon dates that they failed to honor.

In conclusion, our experience with Kitchen Classics and Ovation Cabinetry has been nothing short of a nightmare. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with their lack of accountability, subpar product quality, and the distress they have caused us. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend their services to anyone. If your home builder recommends Kitchen classics, ensure you are prepared to experience potential delays, increased cost, poor quality and service. If that doesn’t sound like something you want to signup for, you may want to shop around. When doing over again here is what I would do: Run the other way. Compare prices. Get deadlines in writing. Have a clause added in the contract if they miss the delivery date they will reimburse “X” amount. I never leave reviews but truly feel I owe it to others to warn you who you are getting into business with.

PS. Based on the other negative reviews, my guess is that Joe Lorentz will respond that he moved mountains to make things right and rush the build and delivery, but that is expected when you drop the ball multiple times. You didn’t do me a favor. You delivered a subpar product at a higher cost and with more delays.

RUN don't walk away from this place! Beyond unprofessional! Arrogant, rude, and if you're not of a certain type they will look down their nose at you as though to ask, "do you really belong here?"

We made the unfortunate mistake of hiring them to make our master bath vanity... Six months and two delays after the original order (which I would be willing to overlook if that's all that went wrong given the overall macroeconomic conditions everyone is dealing with).

But shortly after the installation of the vanity was complete, we noticed a small blemish in the finish of one of the cabinet fronts (repair professional later quoted it as a $60 repair...). We reached out to Val, the customer "service" rep we were working with to inquire about the process to get the blemish taken care of - we weren't looking to lay blame or get some sort of "after install discount" we simply wanted to repair the brand-new drawer front, so it looked new.

The vileness and gaslighting within the response from Val was truly shocking. I've worked in various service sectors my entire life and I've never even considered responding in the way Val did nor have I experienced any other customer service experience that comes close to the level of spite from Val. She instantly gaslit my previous inquiry as 'how dare we accuse Kitchen Classics or their installers/vendors of making a mistake' (to be clear we didn't accuse anyone of anything and honestly didn't care who was to "blame"). The cherry on top of the hypocritical, gaslighting email from Val was that, literally, within the next line of the same email, Val then accuses me of causing the damage or my plumber of causing the damage (my plumber hadn't even been out yet at that time).

We escalated the email chain with Val to ownership to make them aware of the issue. However, we haven't received a response in approximately four months, so this type of behavior is condoned, encouraged, or standard operating procedure for Kitchen Classics...

Moral of the story, learn from our experience and stay far away from this awful company!!

My kitchen design ideas were unique and I knew that not just any designer/supplier would meet my needs. My contractor, Jorgensen's Home Improvement, was wise to refer me to Jenni at Kitchen Classics. Jenni was a huge complement to my design ideas and she understood my vision and "look" from the very start of my project. What a find! Jenni made some very useful suggestions that I hadn't thought about and her and Kitchen Classic's customer service was superb! Love everything so much, now I'm working with Jenni on a bath. Thanks Jenni and Kitchen Classics! You rock!

We ended up at Kitchen classics after price shopping at the big box hardware stores. I didn't think there was any way this place would be in our budget, man was I wrong!! Not only did they have the best prices, their quality was second to none! We picked cabinets, hardware, countertops, and backsplash tiles in the comfort of their showroom. Stephany was with us from start to finish and made the experience fun! She was prompt in returning phone calls and answering questions. She is the very definition of customer service! The measurements were clear and concise! Our brand new kitchen fit perfectly in our not so perfectly squared home. I will be recommending Stephany and Kitchen Classics to anyone shopping for a new kitchen!!

Jenni has amazing design skills. ❤️ We remodeled our laundry and master bath and she had such great vision to get maximum use of our spaces while making them both beautiful and functional! When I needed help or assistance during install or even just needed a question answered, Jenni made herself very available to help. If she was out of the office, a co-worker stepped in with their services so I always could rely on getting any of our needs met. Highly recommend them!!

We had 3 companies give us quotes. Although the quotes came in comparable, the attention we received from Jenni at Kitchen Classics was the deciding point. She spent hours with us designing and helping us choose materials. Because of Jenni, we have a fridge that looks built in with doors that actually open all the way. Other consultants missed that the door was blocked by a wall. Customer service after install was also fantastic!

The displays here were nice... one of the only stores in the area with a Blum Servo-Drive system installed on a modern-look kitchen.

But the service was quite rude and unhelpful. I had mentioned that I wanted to make some of my own cabinets and was there mainly to look at doors and drawer fronts to purchase. One of the salespersons, Jenny, started showing us samples until the guy behind the desk pulled her away for a minute and (not so) discretely told her that we were only looking for ideas and had no intention of buying anything. Both of them then walked away and never spoke to us again. It was fairly obvious that if we weren't looking for an entire custom kitchen we weren't worth the time to help.

If you spend some time researching you'll soon realize that like many industries there are a few main suppliers and all of the "custom" dealers in town are simply putting their name (and markup) on product they purchase elsewhere. In other words, the local stores are interchangeable and should rely on personal service and product expertise to distinguish themselves from the competition. This store certainly left an impression, but it wasn't one that will gain them many customers.
