I am not one to write reviews, but when the service is exceptional and constant. The suppliers of materials deserve a good comment. I have been buying materials from them since 2009 when they were located in Plainfield Illinois. and their service was fantastic, now that they have moved to Oswego and with the bigger location and more personal customer service has increased big time.
If you are looking for materials for your home or a landscape company look no further, no one will treat you like Illinois Landscape Supply.
There everyone treats you like family, customer service is very friendly and efficient and professional.

Great place for your landscaping needs. Lots of rocks and things to choose from. We got large river rocks to build a garden perimeter. It looks real nice. Good service. People are very helpful. They will help you load your items into your car. The rocks are purchased by the pound for small amounts like we purchased.

I purchased some landscaping lights and decided to return them several days later. I did notice there is a %25 restocking fee on all materials, which I can understand for “materials” like pavers, stone, and mulch. I took back the lights which hadn’t been open. Right away I could feel the tension, like a shoplifter had walked into the store. I was asked numerous times why I was returning the lights. I can understand the questions to a point, as they want to help their customers. Long story short I was charged only a %15 restocking fee which totaled about $100. I didn’t argue or act out as many do in these situations. I was told they would mail me a refund check. Ah OK, I’m not sure they can refund my card? I have been working with a contractor who has purchased about $3,000 worth of material from this store for my project. I have informed two contractors who I use about this and told them that in the future they need to purchase material elsewhere. I find it hard to accept that the store needs to charge a restocking fee on unopened items that sit on a self.

Over the past 15 years I have worked for two different family-owned businesses. I can tell you they would have handled the situation differently. I guess that is why they are multi-millionaires now.

Update: I did receive the refund check in the mail (Less the restocking fee)

Ordered some gravel for a project that I'm working on. The woman I spoke to on the phone (Roxanne) was very patient with my ignorance. The ordering process was painless. Prices are also very fair.

The drop off went smoothly as well. I wanted the gravel poured in a specific part of our driveway to allow us to get our cars in and out of our garage still. The driver was more than happy to dump the rocks wherever I wanted.
