Extremely helpful staff, pricing in-line with supplier MSRP
Before going here, I'd started at a big-box store... and discovered they didn't carry the brand that was used by my home's prior owners when they were refinishing our bathrooms at all. Consumers Supply was the nearest company that _was_ a dealer, and I'm glad I ended up there!
This business is split into two sides -- one more oriented at selling to professionals and other people who already know what they need; and a showroom with staff who focus on helping homeowners/DIYers/&c figure out their needs; I'm firmly a member of the latter camp.
When I first came in here, it was near their closing time on Saturday, and it was packed -- there were several staff on hand, but also a heavy customer load. Even so, they spent the time to help me figure out parts compatible with my preexisting, discontinued equipment that had broken (including helping to _identify_ that discontinued equipment) -- and I went away entirely happy.
Unfortunately, I realized after getting home that I hadn't listened to 100% of everything that very helpful staff told me, and I was missing a piece. Since their weekend hours had ended, I came back the next Monday over my lunch break and bought the last part -- a Grohe hose (the one I'd had didn't work with the short threading on one end, and didn't fit the holder on the other). While it perfectly meets my needs (again, thanks to the staff's guidance), I was going to be complaining about the price of that (>$100) hose in this review, and docking a star -- but comparing to online pricing, it's the supplier asking an unreasonable amount; the store's selling price for that hose was in line with MSRP, and I'm glad to be supporting a local business that puts effort into having staff that know their products and have the communication skills to guide the clueless. :)

I drove from St. Louis to purchase a 4x19x4 slenderized Burnham radiator for the steam heating system in my 100-year-old home. Staff at Consumers Supply were extremely helpful in making the purchase. They were just as helpful after the purchase by taking my long distance phone calls about painting and installing the radiator. It is now installed in a small bathroom where there has been no heat for over twenty years. The radiator works great.

Consumers Supply is top notch!!!
Rick Brenner runs a tight ship whether you're a contractor working with his knowledgeable materials staff or if you're a developer, designer or homeowner making kitchen, bathroom, patio or whatever purchases working with his design staff...you are in great hands.
On the design side, I have found Joe Chouinard to be extraordinarily helpful, easy to engage in my goals and a delight to work with. My projects are always better, and generally less expensive, when he's involved!
We started a bathroom project a couple of weeks before COVID shut everything down in March, 2020. In fact, we just managed to get the Schrock cabinet order in before the showroom closed for what was, at the time, to be two or three weeks.
Two months later, the cabinet arrived, lost my contractor and my highrise stopped all construction projects. Consumer stored my 96"x36" utility cabinet for a year...no charge. Just picked it up this week! Definitely extenuating circumstances but that's who Consumer is. They rise to the occasion and come through!
