Finally saved up to have a 30 year old driveway replaced. I've owned this home for nearly 10 years and have never once taken in water, since having Fahey and Sons replace the driveway I've taken in substantial water twice in 3 months, the last of which was catastrophic and resulted in the total loss of the lower level. The water clearly pools and flows backwards towards my stairwell and foundation that leads to the lower level of my home for roughly 15 feet from the garage apron. The owner will not answer his phone after several attempts going back a month, and has only communicated via text that he would not take any responsibility for the matter and is not willing to help address how to prevent the issue from continuing to happen in the future. Paid for a new driveway, received an indoor pool at no extra charge.

A week ago we had our 2300 sq. ft. asphalt driveway and parking pad stripped to the base, the base enhanced and graded, and and a new asphalt surface applied by Fahey & Son Paving. I watched the crew do the entire job across two days and I was impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. The finished product was as good as an asphalt driveway could and should look. They certainly did not skimp on the material and their equipment was in good order and well maintained. We have been driving on it for several days and it is solid. A lot of rain has been falling and there are virtually no pudling issues. Twenty seven years ago one of the contractors I had quote on the original driveway was Fahey & Son but I chose a different one because they offered a 5 year guarantee that turned out to be worthless to me. That contractor went out business before the 5 years passed. I had a poor quality and deteriorating driveway across the years while I watched Fahey & Son doing good looking driveways in my area year after year. I decided that, when I had to replace it, I would give Fahey a try. I think I made a good choice.

!SCAM! I Had a driveway poured in about six months ago by Mike Fahey... terrible job. The driveway is a swimming pool when it rains there was absolutely no grading performed whatsoever. Six months later my tires on my vehicle still sink into the asphalt. My 75 pound gas grill sunk 2 inches into the asphalt in 24 hours and this is after six months. I have called him and let them know my issues and was told “these things happen”, then my phone calls were never answered again. I informed Mike Fahey of the uneven asphalt and issues I was having four weeks after the job was performed and he offered no solution pretty much told me I was screwed. Not even a small refund was offered! nothing! Do not hire these people they are scam artists.
