The crew was very professional and accommodating during our home remodel from the planning faze through completion. They took the time to show us our options and were open and honest regarding pricing while providing much appreciated input. This was our first home improvement that required professional insight due to the importance of design, structural requirements and the return on our investment. The crew took more than the expected time to sit with us to review all the details to include the expected price, home design and how it would look prior to committing to the job. This is why we chose them to complete our home remodel; you can tell by the amount of time that they invested in our home remodel that they truly cared about the final product. Our new four-season room is now our favorite part of our house and is continually complimented when friends and family visit. They also constructed our dormers and completed our siding and roofing. Augustyniak Construction has done two projects for our house, one major and one minor. For both projects, Vito and Nick answered all of our questions always in a timely manner, made sure the worksite was clean, and fixed any issues found.

The first project we had done was a remodel of our main floor. It involved taking out walls, moving part of a kitchen, drywalling, electrical work, and installing our kitchen cabinets. In our remodel, we asked for many walls to be removed. Vito and Nick checked which ones could be removed or shortened. Due to the second story above our main level, two of the smaller walls could not come out and they worked to make sure we were still happy with the floor plan while keep our house structurely sound. We worked with another local business to order cabinets and countertops. To have this business install, our kitchen would have been an additional 6 months out. Augustyniak Construction had a project timeline that worked with the other business. Meaning that, they started work when time was closer for our cabinets coming in so we would not be living in a construction site with a 2 year old longer than needed. We absolutely love our remodeled downstairs.

This October, Augustyniak Construction installed our entire front door and patio door system. Vito came out to measure and drop books off prior to us ordering. He answered all the questions we had, which was a lot of questions, in a timely manner and gave us the honest truth as to how things would come and what would need to be done to make it look exactly like we wanted. When the doors were in, they let us know and set up a time to come install. Left for work and came home to new doors. Absolutely love them! Our back door need some extra time and attention to get it perfect. They gave it just that. Even went beyond to get new trim for it due to how the house was built. I love the wider trim that they picked.

I highly recommend them. I never felt like a burden when I reached out with a question or issue. Their ability to give you a timeline and stick to it is amazing. They are always there when they say they will be and have a great sense how long it takes supplies to come in. Nick and Vito want you to love what you are having done and will make sure it is right. Extremely happy with their work! They are our first call when we have a project.

Augustyniak Construction has completed a variety of commercial projects for our business in Peru, IL. I have used them for several plumbing projects including a few emergency visits in which they were able to be on site within an hour. I have also hired them for steel siding replacement, rubber roofing repairs, industrial painting, window glass replacement, as well as retail display construction and renovation. Nick and Vito have always provided estimates very quickly and the bids have been fair. The Augustyniak crew has always been very professional and punctual which is important as most work has been completed during our store's normal business hours. Augustyniak's quality of work has been top notch and I would highly recommend Nick, Vito, and their crew for any commercial/industrial work.

.Please note that this review is 15 months after work has been completed: Nick and Vito, owners of Augustyniak (now construction) were/are very friendly to deal with. While what they did previously was residential, they no longer do. The worked on siding, roof, bay window, and rear stairs of our house. During construction, there were issues that came up and they fixed them. Some of the contractors on the job had bent up our gutters in a pretty bad way and they replaced them without raising an issue. However, 15 months later a piece of siding fell of our house. When we looked at it, there was adhesive on the back side, but most of it was not in contact it with the other piece of siding that is was to be adhered to. This was done by a pair of different contractors/workers they had used to put the siding up. I did call to have them look at it but they said they offer a 1 year workmanship warranty, which was not expressed or implied on the contract. I ended up rigging a ladder on top of my roof to reinstall. I did the same way but used a considerable amount more adhesive running a bead across most of the length of the siding, knowing this could happen again.

Even after this I would still recommend them for work in the future, for residential. I cannot speak to their ability to do larger projects, which I would assume it fine as well.
