While getting four bids/quotes, asking he means and methods how my sinking concrete will be properly raised and weather will run off away from our home. We chose CRC, the price was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. Research i.e. BBB, looking on Youtube of past customers, seeing their Equipment was impressive. Other companies' salesmen were pushing foam, I was not interested in the proven durability of hardened concrete slurry, it was a no brainer. Concrete would last for years of enjoyment in the Chicagoland harsh weather.
The date of the promised installation and the arrival of the crew was on time, great start for me’ right off the bat, the Foreman was polite and we walked the property. He explained the staging of equipment and installation process. I was pleased. They did not have their Sunday church clothes on,you could tell they were all professionals and it showed. The crew of four got right to it, each man knew what needed to be done, looked to me like poetry in motion. Not at any time did I have a concern, once they finished one area and before going to another relocation area, crew members were cleaning up. I was really pleased, also my wife had a smile on her face (she wanted all the existing concrete removed and all new installed) with our retirement fund for a safer and better property. Once completed I kinda did not want them to leave. They were just four guys doing what they do best, and represented CRC company as a - Non Nightmare Contractor - which I now have faith back in professionalism. This entire process was the best decision we made as a contractor.
