The Crafted Wild team spent time with us discussing finishes in their shop, and went through multiple renderings and drawings to make sure we got everything right. They are able to customize and be flexible, and advise when a detail or finish will work better in their shop or our home. We loved working with the crew at CraftedWild! Without having a designer and doing it on our own, we were very nervous about putting together the kitchen and primary bathroom of our dreams - as well as being taken advantage of. But that was not at all the case with CraftedWild. Allison was so patient with all our questions and indecision during the design process, and Kyle and Kornel were great with answering questions and follow up during the build/installation process. The quality of the Walnut kitchen cabinets and more cost-effective option presented for the bathroom laminate exceeded our expectations, and we constantly receive compliments on how everything turned out. When a couple minor things came up, they were quick to come up with a solution and were able to coordinate with our contractor to resolve quickly. They also recommended the contractor we used (Big Brothers Development), as well as the stone company for countertops (StoneLux), and we are so happy that we trusted their referral because we had an overall great experience with everyone! What an ordeal!! I started working with the team in the summer of 2021 on custom builtin bookshelves for my living room and a mantle. I really liked the design lead, Alison, and Kyle one of the founders. I always love to support young companies and I thought the work they did was really top notch. Their initial quote was $2k above what I received from two contractors and I went back to them and initially (sadly) declined to work with them. However, they suggested they could have the shelves built in the Europe, shipped and come down to the pricing of the other contractors. I agreed and the work was delayed until October 2021, which was okay with me. Then, due to COVID the delays extended to February and finally we were able to schedule a time for them to come and install.

Well, then I was informed the crown molding was delayed 2 months but they could install everything else. I said fine. IT WAS NOT FINE. The mantle was really nice, but I had to talk with them about a plan for the sound bar to feed in to the mantle, which I thought would have been passed on to the installation team since it was in the initial design. One of the shelves was built too short and thus there's a weird spacing between the wall and the shelf. There wasn't a hole cut for electronics as discussed initially in the design on the shelf above the cabinet, but there was a raggedy hole cut in back wall of the cabinet that exposes the wood. Plus, they installed wood at the bottom of the cabinet that didn't match the base board.

I sent a long email to Korner (the other cofounder), Kyle and Alison with the issues that I saw (those mentioned above, along with the wrong handles being installed, and a few other issues.) and asked that we be scheduled to fix them. I asked for it ASAP because I'm also due to have my first child in early April.

They found another crown molding option and we scheduled for them to come out on April 12th to fix the issues. Was it fixed?!? Not exactly!! They installed a base board over the wood but didn't correct for the spacing on either side, and they cut a larger hole for the electronics but didn't place a cover or grommet or anything that makes it look like it's professionally finished. My goodness. I just reached the end of my understanding and patience with the repeated errors. I just can't do it anymore and decided I'd find another company to fix the issues at this point.

Maybe they are great with kitchen cabinets, but this work seemed over their skill set.

We hired the CraftedWild team to design, build, and install cabinetry and shelving in our living room. Kyle was our first point of contact and was responsible for getting our project up and running. He was responsive, answered all of our questions, and immediately made us feel comfortable in choosing CW. We then worked with Katrina to explain our thoughts for the space and ultimately design our unit. She quickly picked up on our general guidance and delivered a proposal and digital rendering that hit exactly what we were looking for. She was even kind enough to provide a tour of their fabrication shop and show material samples that we were able to choose from. After the floating cabinetry and shelves were built from scratch, Kornel and his father completed delivery and installation over the course of two days. They were both professional, very friendly, and took great care of our home and general workspace. They were very meticulous with the installation and the final product was perfect. The materials are extremely high quality, the craftsmanship is top notch, and the entire CraftedWild team was an absolute pleasure to work with.
