My technician Justin was kind, approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful. He explained step by step as he tested my Whirlpool washer. He followed up with the problem and options. He was honest about what could not be fixed. He provided a lot of information that helped me go forward with a smart new product purchase. I will definitely call Duncan for future service needs.

Justin did a great job on our LG refrigerator. Although he didn't send an invoice immediately after his service, the company sent one a couple days later.

We panicked when we got no ice the first day the refrigerator was back in service, and we called Justin/Duncan. It turned out that waiting 24 hours for ice was all we needed to do. The LG is still working well--and we're getting lots of ice!

Much as I hate to think of the LG or any other appliance developing a problem, at least we now have a great company to call--Duncan Home Services.

This is kind of a long review but it tells a story and in the end, Duncan was professional and thorough. I had what proved to be a difficult repair. This was for an under counter ice maker. The initial diagnosis was quite costly. Nearly $1,800. However, that was still substantially cheaper than buying a new ice maker. The parts came in and a second appointment was made. Parts were installed and unfortunately, the initial diagnosis was wrong. The leak was not the compressor nor was it the condenser. So another part needed to be ordered. I was assured that there would be no additional charge and that Duncan would get it fixed. When that part finally came in, it was installed only to find that the new compressor that was purchased did not work. Extremely disappointing for all of us. Doubly frustrating for me in as much as the old compressor was actually not bad. At this point, Duncan offered to settle the account or continue on with a second try on the compressor. I opted to try one more time and it is finally making ice again! Since clearly some of the parts that were ordered were not required Duncan actually worked on my bill and substantially discounted the price. I thought it was quite fair. They surely did not make any money on this repair but stood by their commitment and got the job done. At the end of the day, I am willing to pay more for quality work with people who actually care.

Duncan Home Services is, without a doubt, the best appliance and HVAC company we have ever worked with.
Communication with office staff is unrivaled for keeping the customer informed. Owner Claude Duncan personally called us to arrange a solution when we had a weekend issue. And our technician Matt went the extra mile literally, making several trips to our remote log home to sort out a tricky refrigerator problem.
He knew what needed to be done almost immediately and took care of it seamlessly, despite dusty trips down gravel roads! These folks are the real deal!

This is our first time using Duncan but it won’t be the last. Simply the best home service for anything that we have had. Communication is clear and consistent, they arrive when they say (both times for us early in the morning before the day starts for kids etc) and they are fast and efficient. Could not have had a better experience other than the ice make in our fridge not breaking to start with.

He also gave me tips on a few functions on my washing machine that I was unaware of which I really appreciated.
