Recently had a sprinkler pipe repaired after calling weeks in advance, explaining in detail the scope of work needed. The technician was willing to only fix the burst pipe and the front desk/receptionist said there would be a charge to address the other issues later. Despite frustration, agreed to proceed with fixing at least the main pipe due to urgency.

During the repair, the technician promised to return the next morning but didn't show up. Contacted the same front desk person who insisted on a charge for a return visit and could not offer any warranty or assurance of the work completed.

Lacking in customer service/professionalism and failure to fulfill promises (ie finish the job). Overly eager to charge and unresponsive to customer concerns.

Edit: turned on water back on pipe, no leaks yet. Will check sprinkler unit tonight…

Update (09/21/23): it took 3 more attempts before at my recommendation they sent out a 'more experienced'/different worker to oversee the work. Holding up as of today. On a positive note, the front desk did reverse the charge for coming out multiple times to address the ongoing/same issue so adding back another star.

They rebuilt a retaining wall that was put in about 10 years ago and was not done properly -- it was about to collapse. They made it look better than the original and much stronger. Tim, the person I dealt with, was very pleasant to work with and he was responsive to what I wanted. I would recommend this company for any landscaping construction.

Heinen installed my front yard landscape, irrigation system and exterior lighting. All projects were excellent! the landscape regularly receives nice comments, the sprinkler system has a Rachio smartphone controller that is really handy, and the FX Luminaire LED lighting system is also controlled by my smartphone and has hundreds of different lighting settings. I have nothing but positive things to say about their great work. They also do seasonal treatments to my lawn - which has it greener and fuller than it ever was when I used the company with the "red" trucks previously. No complaints, worth the investment!

Very friendly staff. They were very helpful when we had an issue (long story) with an irrigation system, they were in charge of maintaining the system and the property, while we were working on a project on the same site with them. They were most concerned about taking care of the customer and getting the system back up and running properly. They have a great group of people running their operation. We had a great experience with Heinen last fall when, with their help, we created an outdoor patio area. The area contained both hardscape and landscape, as well as lighting. Tim was wonderful from the beginning - he was personable, listened carefully to our hopes and ideas for the space, and was creative and flexible in his design.
