There is something about good people who like to earn their money the right way. The family that runs Dirt Kings are good people. I needed some professional work on my drive because it isn't my skill even though I have spent time working on it. I found them because they are relatively local to me and it was great from then.

The owner came out and gave me an assessment on the work. He would handle hauling in materials, spreading it and packing it. Great news for me so far.

Then the quote came, reasonable rates. Yes gravel is just rock, but they have diesel and labor and most importantly for me the skill and patience to do it right.

Then came my stipulation, I don't do work that I don't have cash on hand for. Not even a blink of an eye, no pressure, no adjusted estimate because of a wait period. Remember, good people.

Then came time to do the work. I had other people at the house doing work, no problem. They came a few days later and did the work (the owner's nephew, good people and family business kind of go hand in hand some times). To say it is the best it has ever looked is an understatement because I have been the one doing the work and well, I am not skilled with the use of a bobcat.

Remember, you aren't just paying for material, you are paying for SKILLED labor and know how. I will not only use them again but will recommend them wherever I can because they showed skill.
