Just had a great experience using lend a hand for a few around the house jobs I couldn’t do myself. Mike was courteous, quick and did a perfect job on everything he completed. Will definitely be using their service again! Thank you, Mike!

Leo Bogard came to my home to provide an estimate. We had a 2pm appointment. I work the overnight shift, and sleep from 7am to 2ish. When I answered the door, promptly at 2pm, he was already walking away. He stated "I was here earlier, you weren't". With a pretty nasty attitude. I explained my work schedule. He entered and began critiquing the work done by a previous handyman - whom I fired. I tried to explain THAT WAS WHY HE WAS HERE. To fix this mess. Not give me grief for hiring a bad handyman. Leo that stated he "doesn't read the notes" on the jobs he's sent out to bid..... I tried, again, to explain what I wanted done. How I wanted to go about fixing my home - without completely tearing my new floors and cabinets out and starting over. Leo simply refused to listen, than said the job would be $1650. No explanation. Nothing in writing. Absolutely NO IDEA WHAT he was offering to do for $1650. I have another bid for $850. Seems really high for maybe 4 hours worth of work. Level three base cabinets, attach to wall. Cut hole in cabinet to allow water lines to reach sink, Cut hole in laminate countertop for sink, install sink water and waste lines. Remove four upper cabinets. Mount range fan. I really think Leo thought I "sleep all day". Immediately though I was an unemployed low life. I work 12 hour overnights. If I make an appointment, it's with respect to my sleep schedule. I'm a single woman and clearly hired a bad handyman initially - through a Home Depot referral. I didn't hire someone out of the parking lot. I absolutely DID NOT deserve the judgement for how my home looks. Finally, I don't think Leo wanted my job. He threw out an absurd number. If I bit, he would have easily gotten $400 an hour. I feel absolutely disrespected and insulted with the way I was treated. Nothing in writing. Absolutely no clue what $1650 was for

Work wasnt finished. And they rushed for 2 days. Don't believe it was worth 5000 dollars for what the work was. Still didn't meet standards but we just wanted to be done with this company. They also had to come back when we noticed the bathroom tub was leaking... Don't use this company. High priced and poor work. Was told Angel didn't know how to drywall well. (Half the job was drywall work ?) I dare them to comment about how we didn't tell them first because we absolutely did and the son's work (chaz) still was sub-par work as well. I know how work should be done because I grew up around it. This isn't it. Find someone else. I also have pictures of the work for anyone who wants to see...

My wife had been wanting to get our cabinets painted over their oak finish for some time. We got several quotes from other companies but felt they were too high. Then we called Lend A Hand Handyman. Buddy came out with Woody the painter and gave us a very reasonable quote. We set a date for the job to be done, and loved the finished product. Enclosed are a before & after picture of Woody's work.
