We have an older house that needed a kitchen remodel for many years. We consulted three kitchen remodelers and chose Bluegrass Kitchens because they listened to us. We had an idea of what we wanted but they showed us what was possible. Now we have the kitchen of our dreams. The cabinets are sturdy and high quality. We had many colors and variety to choose from. The workers who did the remodel were all very friendly and professional. Becky and Jennifer are an excellent team. We are delighted with the results of this project.

Bluegrass Kitchens did the design & kitchen remodel in our older home. It was challenging in many ways but they were very professional & worked with us every step of the way. There was a quality issue on our original cabinets but they owned the issue & worked with us to have them all replaced by another cabinet supplier. (They no longer use the original supplier.) It did delay the finish of our kitchen but they installed a temporary kitchen so we were able to have a functional kitchen while we waited for the new cabinets to arrive. We love our new kitchen & our only regret is waiting so long to have it done!

Our experience with Bluegrass Kitchens was excellent, from start to finish. Derin, Becky, and Jennifer were always very responsive, pleasant to work with, helpful, knowledgable, and professional.

My wife had given much thought to the new kitchen for some years, watching TV shows and such, so she knew a lot about what she wanted.
Still, we were very open to suggestions from the very-experienced professionals at Bluegrass Kitchens. Their advice, and their inquiries to help us identify what we really wanted, from big to small, were always very welcome and helpful.

The price was well worth it, and completely in line with what we expected, with no bad surprises anywhere along the way. The price was actually somewhat more favorable than some other local excellent companies.

The several-month timeline that they gave was very reasonable and accurate, although the national supply-chain issues affected a few minor elements. That delayed the final completion of the project, which didn't surprise us, and was just fine. Bluegrass Kitchens kept us fully apprised, all along the way.

My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the process all along the way, and with the final results. We would absolutely look forward to working with Bluegrass Kitchens in the future, for other possible large projects at our home.

We would highly-recommend Bluegrass Kitchens to anyone. We really appreciate them.

By the way, our advice for anyone having bigger or smaller projects like this done at their homes would be to:
-- take your time and be comfortable about choosing an excellent
company to work with;
-- put plenty of thought into the project beforehand, such that you are
comfortable with:
-- when you are ready to begin, as these projects take several months,
during which you will need to be flexible living around the construction
in your house;
-- knowing that there will always be some various small delays and
changes and such, which are completely normal;
-- having appropriate money saved, beforehand, for larger projects like
this;
-- have some flexibility around all aspects of the project, from start to
finish;
-- practice being kind, patient, and appreciative of all of the people
involved in the project, from those above, to all of the (well-screened by
Bluegrass Kitchens) skilled workers who come to your house;

I had an incredible experience with the entire team at Bluegrass Kitchens. After being blown off by many contractors, it was a relief to have a company welcome you and express a genuine interest in earning your business. From the planning to execution, I was impressed with their professionalism and workmanship.

Although the project wasn't without hiccups, they would own all aspects of the job and did whatever they needed to make it right. I reckon it's hard to anticipate needing to drywall a whole ceiling after a soffit removal, but they did so without hesitation and without changing the price.

They did an excellent job sticking to their timeline despite the uncertainties of supply shortages. Even with a total gut to the studs, I had a functioning kitchen just after 2 weeks from when the project began.

Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with their work, and to get this level of craftsmanship for such a reasonable price I consider myself very lucky to have trusted them with remodeling my home. I would recommend them to anyone considering any level of remodel.

Reached out to Bluegrass Kitchens in early August for a kitchen remodel. Over the next 6 weeks two separate people came to our house to take measurements and help create a remodeling plan. Haven't heard from anyone since Sept 27th. Almost zero communication from the company. We understand that everyone is busy and short staffed these days but sending an email or making a call with expected timeline would have been appreciated. We will not be using them for any future plans.
