James was very thorough, taking his time to go over everything and answer all of my questions, and he quickly provided me with a detailed report that points out the issues that I need to focus on before beginning the remodel of this older home. While I'd like to begin with more cosmetic changes and updates, it's more important to know and tackle existing fundamental issues first, and the inspection gave me the information that I need. We recently had the pleasure of working with Matt Anderson from CHC Home Inspection, and I cannot recommend their services enough. From the moment we scheduled our inspection, the professionalism and expertise of the team were evident. Matt was exceptionally friendly and approachable, making us feel comfortable throughout the process. His approach was laid-back yet professional, presenting information in a straightforward and respectful manner. He was thorough, allowing us ample time to ask questions, which he answered comprehensively.

The inspection itself was meticulously carried out, covering every nook and cranny of our home, including a termite inspection. Matt was transparent about any issues he found, providing practical, non-pushy recommendations on how to address them. The report was detailed, divided into sections (Minor/FYI, Marginal/Moderate, and Severe/Significant), and included photos for nearly every point mentioned.

Additionally, the office staff, particularly the woman who handled our calls, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, especially regarding the VA loan and appraisal processes. Her kindness and patience in answering our questions, regardless of their simplicity, were truly commendable.
