I had an exceptional experience over a few days with two young men who took on the challenging task of erecting a gazebo at my residence. This handyman service could arguably be considered the best in Louisville. I would recommend this business to anyone and everyone who might need honest, hard-working professionals for a job. Simply outstanding!

We hired Kori and his team in February 2024 to demo and replace a shower pan in a walk-in shower at our rental property in Louisville KY-we live in Danville KY about 80 miles from Louisville. My son lived there while in school at UoL and graduated in May and has since moved to Virginia. So, we are in the process of preparing the house to go on the market to sell. At first, communication was good and I felt that we had hired the right people to fix our shower. It has been a long 3 months of trying to get this project done and I won’t go into every detail of the process but I wanted other consumers to know what I experienced with this franchise location.
James installed the shower pan in April and it looked horrible! There were stains on the pan, the caulk job was horrible, & there was a leak. I contacted Kori and he responded right away to say they would get it fixed and looking good. The office manager, Anna was always pleasant and tried her best to help me (same with Mary-her assistant-who is also no longer with them). Stan came out and he added more caulk to the shower pan and then told my son to remove the stains with rubbing alcohol. I told my son that wasn't his job and to not touch the pan-and there was still a leak. So, Anna and Austin came out and Austin spent the better part of 2 hours on his hands and knees scraping the excess caulk off. It looked better but still needed appropriate sealing and the stains removed + the leak fixed. Mary came out the next day to clean the pan and it did look better after she was done. Steven was sent out next to assess the leak. He told us the pan was cut wrong and that's why it was leaking-there was nothing he could do. He said someone would be in touch to schedule another service day for us. That was May 8th. I heard nothing from them until May 13th letting me know someone would be out May 23rd to assess the leak. Chris showed up that day about 2 hours later than scheduled-without anyone letting me know he would be late.
**As I stated above I do not live in Louisville or at that property... it is vacant right now and I have to travel 1 1/2 hours to be there to meet someone**
He thought the leak was around the drain and not because the pan was cut wrong.. tried caulking it that day. It needed to dry before testing it. I returned May 30th for him to water test the drain. Again, Chris arrived later than I thought he would without any communication from anyone. But at least he was there. I was meeting with my realtor at the house so I left Chris to it. I went looking for Chris to see what he had discovered and he was gone. I called the office and was told he had left (without letting me know)-again no one let me know he was gone and wasn't coming back that day because the drain was still leaking and he needed to order a part. So I scheduled a follow up day with Mary for June 12th (as I was leaving to go on vacation for a week on June 1st). I am waiting for someone to arrive on June 12th-told he would be there between 10-11AM. At noon I called Anna and she told me I had no appointment that day. She said the part was not in to fix the drain. I was shocked since no one let me know that and I had made another 80 mile trip for nothing. She said the part would be in on Friday the 14th but couldn't guarantee that. I scheduled a follow up visit for June 20th but after discussing with my husband-we decided we were done. Over the 3 months of working with HC, James, Steven, and Mary are no longer with the company. I let Kori know our decision and he offered to pay for a plumber to complete the work but I declined. I felt like this offering was too late and not sincere. We never heard from Kori during this whole process after the email to get repairs started. Kori sent an unpleasant and derisive email that said I should have reached out to him-and didn't. I don't think I should have had to do that-He made me feel like I did something wrong. All I did was trust HC to complete my project. We paid over $2,500. and still have no working shower.

Handyman Connection expanded our church stage and created floor space hanging our speakers/TVs. Kori gave us a great deal and ensured the job was done right. Stan/team did the work and gave alot of creative ideas to optimize the space and was a delight. If you can dream it the Handyman Connection can built it! Thank you.

Handyman connection showed up as scheduled and gave us a reasonable estimate on redoing stair balusters and removing old stain off wood railings. The team who did the work was efficient and told us each day what to expect . James was the main guy on team and he was knowledgeable and talked us through the steps. I am very pleased with the finished product . I’d use them again.
