The owner of Magic Upholstery is not being honest or accepting responsibility for substandard workmanship. They used wall paint on furniture and the finish is terrible all over not just a few marks made during delivery. The manufacturer of the paint confirmed that it is not made for furniture applications.

I hired Magic Upholstery to paint and recover 6 chairs and a dining table. Linda Nguyen quoted us one price and then increased it before the work began, I agreed. Once the work was complete and the furniture delivered I immediately noticed that the paint would rub off anywhere it is touched. I spoke with Linda and was told that the issue was because I requested a matte finish. I asked to see the paint used and was shocked to see that they used Valspar flat wall paint from Lowe’s. I contacted Valspar and was told that this product is not recommended for furniture application but they do make a matte finish paint for furniture. I called Linda and explained this to her but she would not accept any responsibility. I requested a refund for the paint work or for them to repaint with the correct materials because I am very unhappy. She has refused! I would not recommend this business to anyone, they do not stand behind their work and they use cheap substandard products!

The padding inside my Italian leather sofa and chairs failed after years of daily use. Magic Upholstery did an awesome job at replacing the padding. The sofa and chairs look and feel new again. I am so very satisfied with the results. I highly recommend Magic Upholstery!!

I had a Laine recliner that broke on me where the cushion sunk into the bottom of the chair. This recliner is now selling for over 800.00. Purchased for my grandmother 30 years ago for 600.00 and did not want to get rid of it for sentimental reasons. The upholstery was still in great condition. Ms Linda had me take a picture of it before I drove there with it so it was'nt a waste of our time and assured she could repair. I brought it to her on a Friday and she promised it back to me for the following Monday. They did a great job at a reasonable price. I got it back faster than I thought possible and it looks like new! Very happy with their workmanship. Thank You!

I was looking to create an L-shaped window seat cushion for my kitchen. Went to the store, found a couple fabrics that I liked, and returned with decision a few days later. Ms. Linda worked with me to secure the correct measurements for the project and they completed the job in under two weeks. Great quality and workmanship. Very pleased with result and would definitely recommend Magic Upholstery.
