Rude and unhelpful.

Response to owner: the woman at the front desk was very nice and communicative to me. I have had my windshield replaced here before, which is why I came back to see if there was anything Acme could do for my sunroof. I was aware that there was already silicone sealant on my sunroof, and I had already told the woman at the front desk this as well. I’m not sure if that information was passed on to the man who looked at my car, but he came in and told me there was nothing he could do to fix it, which I understood completely. The problem was not that he was unable to fix it, but that he mumbled underneath his breath the entire time and acted annoyed as to the fact that I even came in before going to a dealership. He never communicated with me that he was unable to open my sunroof because of the leftover silicone (he just told me something was broken), and I did not realize that this was an issue for him, as I had previously opened my sunroof right before coming to Acme today.

I didn't expect 2-star quality from Acme Glass as I've used them in the past and have been pleased with them.

The back window on my truck needed to be replaced under the manufacturer's warranty and my dealer subbed the work out to Acme. I was pleased to hear that, as I have trusted Acme in the past like I said.

When I got my truck back, I inspected the areas where the work was done. I noticed three areas on the truck's paint surrounding the back window that had been scratched through to the bare metal, excess adhesive on some trim and paint, and the technicians left trash in the bed of my truck and under the back seat.

I will attach pics of the paint scratches and leftover adhesive, but I didn't take pics of the trash in the bed (some rubber molding) or the orange tootsie roll wrapper and cardboard under the back seat. You know who you are ;-)

From the moment I first called them, to when I got back into my car from replacing my windshield Acme did an awesome job. Everyone I spoke to was nice and ready to help. They serviced my vehicle quite quickly and their prices for the service cant be beat! I'd recommend anyone to get auto glass here in the future!
