We bought our home this June and immediately hired Farrell pool to open our in-ground pool and signed on for bi-weekly cleaning services of the pool.
Immediately after our 4th cleaning all of sudden our pump stopped working. We noticed this within 5 minutes of them cleaning it and called Farrell asking to have them come look because something clearly had gone wrong. They recommended we shut off the pump and they would be sending someone over the next day. Someone came the next day and he hasn’t able to figure out what was wrong. I called them back and said we can’t just have the pump turned off for days on end. The following day they had an older gentleman come who I believe might be the owner of the company. He was very friendly and after working he was able to figure out that the pool skimmer line was clogged. He unclogged it, and even went on to apologize. He explained that one of the younger kids who cleaned the pool must have removed the basket to clean the pool without shutting off the pump which could have caused debris to get to the line. We were happy with this gentleman service. Multiple times while he was here I asked how much him fixing this mistake would cost and was reassured nothing since it was their fault, and he really just cares to make sure his customers are happy. We appreciate that so much!
Fast forward 2 weeks later and we were charged for them having to fix their mistake. We called them thinking this was by mistake. Turns out it wasn’t, they charged for working on the pool and unclogging the skimmer line.
We don’t appreciate being misled. We understand mistakes happen and werent too upset since they fixed what was done. But being told no charge than getting a bill later is extremely frustrating, unprofessional.

** Update: The charges were retracted, which we appreciate so much!

Overall

Farrell Pool Service helped us with a renovation of our pool in Wayland two seasons ago. New stairs, new vinyl liner, switched to salt water chlorination, renovated our plumbing and skimmers, added a Polaris automatic pool cleaner. Everything has turned out GREAT. The team was very professional and easy to work with.

If you need work on your pool, these are the guys to call for sure.

Overall

Extremely friendly and helpful. This is our second year using their service, and we are very happy! Anytime we have had filter issues, they come the very next day and fix the issue. We get their weekly cleanings as well! The 2 guys that clean the pool are so nice! They love our dogs, and they do a great job. I definitely recommend using their services.
