I have started a claim with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). How this company has 4.5 stars out of 5 blows my mind. If I could rate with zero stars, I would.

I paid a deposit on May 8th. It is now July 16th and I still do not have a fence. I've called the "front office" multiple times for updates and they always take down a "message"...surprise, I never get a call back.

I called to attempt to get my deposit back. The woman who answered the phone was clueless. She asked what "message" she could take down and I promptly stated that I've been through this exact process of someone taking down a message many times. I asked her if she could patch me through to someone higher up, she stated that she did not have any name or phone number to anyone else in the company.

HOW?

Hope the BBB helps out...I'll update whenever I get my money back.

Update on July 18th: Refund is pending in my account.

Rep came out, measured and drew up proposal. Paid 1/3 down, then work foreman came out to "assess" and announced he was doing something else (at more cost, of course.) It's been over three months, they took my money and still no resolution.

It's impossible to speak to anyone (if there is even anyone) at Pyle. All calls go to an answering service and are filtered out.

Update: the fence has been up a week and I already have a broken board. I emailed my original contact (Bob) and he said he would send a message to repair. I never heard anything else. I waited 2 more days and called. Of course I get some sort of outsourced call center again. They take my information and again no reaponse. The big issue with this company is communication. It's been over a week now. Also one of my statues was broken by the staff when installing the fence an no one said anything. I it was very light and could have easily been moved by the staff before. Had any communicated with me prior to install I would have moved the statue myself.

Original: I shopped around and went with Pyle because they are in my neighborhood and have great reviews. I am so glad I did. Getting through the call center is a little off putting and communication is lacking but it was worth it in the end. I am absolutely in love with my new fence. The team worked diligently all day in the Baltimore summer heat. Watching them was like watching a well oiled machine. I am so impressed with the teamwork these guys have. They hand built the fence and did not use prehung panels. I highly recommend Pyle Fence. I cannot say enough. They should throw a party for these guys they are such hard workers with amazing craftsmanship!!

Just had our fence replaced and we can’t say enough about Pyle Fence. Their process was professional, friendly and top notch from start to finish. Every member of their staff from John doing the estimate to Carlos overseeing the job, to the workers themselves could not have been better. Quality materials and excellent workmanship. I would highly recommend them for any fence project you are considering. A+++
