First off, you may notice that every review in the past month of this review is a 5 star rating - that is not a coincidence. Artelye has a promo going on where they are paying reviewers $20 for a review. I share this since none of the reviews state that they are part of a promo and the ethicality of paying for reviews is a grey area at best, and possibly illegal according to the FTC.

That being said, I am here to give an honest review. My experience with Artelye was mixed. First off, the good - the countertop work they do is pretty good. They can sell any countertop that MSI makes and their countertops look good. The people doing the installation are efficient and do a really great job with no issues.

However, the customer service with Artelye is mixed. Dealing with Artelye's customer service was the most frustrating part of our kitchen renovation. The first rep we dealt with was easy to speak with, Kris, was great. He helped us narrow down our countertop choice when looking around the warehouse and gave us a quick quote.

A month later, they switched up customer service reps on us to Naada. Since that point, the communication was slow and previous promises were not kept. The price of our installation went up, they tried adding extra bars for support that were not needed and raised the price, and Naada would dodge my calls. I would call asking for her and a coworker would say she was busy and would get back to me. Guess what - she never called back. I spoke to her over phone once, and after that, I only would get her coworkers who always said she was busy. It is unprofessional and unacceptable to dodge customer calls.

After my experience with Artelye's customer support, I do not recommend anyone do business with them. They only added stress onto an already stressful kitchen renovation. Thankfully, their countertops actually look good, but you have to pull a tooth and a nail to get what you want.

I was thrilled with Artelye. I noticed their location while visiting IKEA and stopped in to take a look. Kris helped me identify a stone that was exactly what we wanted for our project at an excellent price. The measurement and installation went smoothly. The team even navigated my condo building without disturbing the neighbors. I became a bit disappointed after the installation - almost immediately we regretted not adding backsplashes to a desk area and the small portion of our countertop that wasn't being tiled. I emailed Kris to order this addition in late October, was given a reasonable price, and approved the work in writing. I knew it would not be a priority since it was such a small addition, but patiently waited for my order to be completed. When I reached out again in early December, Kris had moved on to a different position. UPDATE on April 12: While the new salesperson initially indicated they were unable to honor the original quote for the extra work, as it was below their minimum, the owner stepped in and has promised to make sure we finish off a wonderful install with the extra backsplash we wanted. Excellent service recovery from a company that seems dedicated to doing a great job at a fair price.

Andy and Hien are like the dynamic duo. They are true professionals, they are patient, honest, willing to give you a suggestion, and overall they are good at their job. They under promise and over preform. From day one, I knew that we had come to the right place. They displayed a very high level of professionalism. Their slab warehouse is vast. They are willing to move around slabs and show you each one from a particular stone to pick out the one you like the best. Their production facility is modern. Once you pick out your slab, if you have rough measurements, they can input those into their computer, pull up an image of the slab and do a layout right then and there. Once you have put down a deposit, they schedule an appointment to take final measurements. Once that is done they prepare a cad drawing for your approval. You get the final say on everything including how they finish the edge. If you want, you can then come back in and do a taped out layout on the slab. Next you schedule installation. The crew was very courteous and got the installation done quickly. Artelye even arranged for the plumber to hook up the faucet (other companies didn't provide this service). They will also provide the sink. Artelye stands by their work. The first part of our renovation was getting the counters. Once installed, we did the tile work, and finally appliances. When it came time to install the appliances, there was about an 1/8 of an inch issue which prohibited us from installing the refrigerator and the range. After calling them, they promptly dispatched the installation crew who fixed the issue with no additional charges. It is true that I can be difficult and hard to deal with, but Andy and Hien and the rest of the crew at Artelye put up with us. The results speak for themself.

we came across Artelye just by walk in and I am glad we did. the sales team and installation team were very professional. Hien helped us a lot and encourage us to select BULE ROMA. that was a very bold decision but we are glad we did. our 12 feet long island in our open floor plan is the focal point of our first floor and we get lots of compliments of our countertop colors, layout and texture. there were some small minor issues through installation which finally got fix. we highly recommend ARTELEY for your projects.
